I have read everything from 2-3iu daily (5 on 2 off) to 5-8iu daily for men. Whats the deal here? 35yrs old 6'1, about 205lbs with 16% body fat. Ive been using about 2iu daily for about 4 months and have just moved up to 3iu's in the past 4 weeks. I heard that it takes about 4-6 months to really kick in but I want to know if 3iu's is good for overall safety and effectiveness or is that not enough.

My plan is not to be a body builder, just look good with good build and lower body fat %.

Also, please tell me what you think for women as well as my girl has been on 1iu daily for the past 3 months.
