Hey guys, have low testosterone:

10.8nmol on a scale of 10-30 (Uk measurements)

Have all the symptoms of low test which is why i went.

I asked for a referal to a hormone specialist.

Another thing i noticed on my blood was that my blood protein was out of range? (60-80 is the normal range and mine was 86?) and albumin was highlighted as out of range as well.

What could this mean? He didnt seem bothered but he was just a GP not a specialist

Also i was on testogel for 4 days, i told him i hadent taken any incase it affected my chances of seeing an endocrinologist. So will i be ok if i just stop? It didnt do anything for me anyway so maybe i couldent absorb it well

So now I am completely confused. You want to 'get' a doctor to treat you for low test regardless of whether or not he/she thinks it is medically necessary and you are willing to alter your normal lifestyle to suppress your T level. And this is what you consider 'not' cheating?

Erm no.

I had low test last year when my diet and training etc was perfect, so my levels are low regardless.

Before my blood test i will eat a bit worse and sleep a bit less yes but im not going to use prohormones to suppress myself just natural stuff to lower it slightly to what it would be on some days, im low regardless and it needs sorting but if i can knock a couple of numbers off they should take it more seriously.

the scale from normal levels low to high is crazy. you could be really low and still normal which really sucks for bodybuilders and stuff. its very common and not cheating. put yourself in there shoes. did you wanna go on HRT or just reboost yourself?

I guess I am just sick of the common search for a "syndrome" or medical condition to explain slower than desired gains.

agreed. try a restart and then 10-15 years down the road more and more data on people on HRT will come out and see how all of them are doing
