There is soooo many conflicting opinions on what is optimal time off in between cycles etc

Some people say:

> It all depends on the compund you run and how harsh it is
> It all depends on how weak the compound is (Bold or Hdrol etc)
> It all depends what PCT you used
> Time on + PCT = Time off
> Depends on what your bloodwork shows
> Never have time off! (I dont condone this ofcourse lol)

What do you guys think?

time on + pct = time off is the norm
on 4 weeks epi cycle with a good 4 weeks pct i have gone down to 4 weeks off
5 weeks tren bad cycle (lots of sides) ok 4 weeks pct 3 months off
3 weeks sd good cycle 4 weeks ok pct took 12 weeks off (s.d. should always add some more time to your time off imo)
if you have a good run no side good gaines and a good pct i cut time off
if things go bad with my cycle or pct i add more time
just my opinion
and blood work always helps

At the MINIMUM, the periods between the end of the PCT for one cycle and the start of another cycle should be ~4 weeks.

Generally though, the time off you have between the end of the PCT for one cycle and the start of another = time on-cycle + PCT for that cycle.

I personally think that the trend is to think of a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio of time on/time off -- HOWEVER, by time off, I'm including PCT.

It depends on the compounds, but if you do an 8-week cycle, then a 4-week PCT, I think that 12 more weeks totally off is unnecessary. 8 weeks on, 4 weeks PCT + 4 weeks totally off is acceptable.

Another trend is to do 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off (with perhaps part of that 2 weeks off being mild PCT with a SERM), then repeat for 4 or 5 times, with a 4-week PCT at the end.

You have to read logs on a bunch of boards to get an idea of what is working for people. I'm not saying that the 1:1 or 1:2 ratio is advisable, necessarily... just that it is within the boundaries of what people are successfully doing. The time on+PCT=time off is to some extent "bro-science" -- it sounds good and is easy to understand, but it isn't absolutely necessary in the real world.

Why not just get blood work done before and after to know for sure you have recovered? Sticky in anabolics for cheap bloodwork if you don't have insurance.

Forgot to add... even a 2:1 ratio of time on/time off is seen as acceptable by some people. An 8-week testosterone/tren cycle with a 4-week PCT, and then going straight into another cycle, is in the range of "pushing it," but still possibly acceptable.

Time On + PCT = Time Off

I've thought about bridging, etc.

Really, I get so sick of being on 18-20 week runs, that when I am off it really gives me a chance be semi normal again. I like the time off.

So for me, its about 5/6 months on, then 6/7 month off.

If you're doing a fast turnaround, bloodwork is worth it. You don't want to have to abort the second cycle.

I like to agree with rosie.

time on + pct, and be in no hurry to start another cycle.

I would recomend getting blood work done after this time. typically you can generalize at a minimum it will be 2 months before your body will really be back to homeostasis. but only blood work will tell you this. and you wont really know unless you have pre cycle blood work to show you what your baseline numbers are.

waiting longer between cycles isn't going to hurt you, thats for sure.

Women are different than men, and don't need to do PCT after hormonal cycles, since we do do not have to return a HPTA to homeostasis. Many women just taper off their cycles. I still wouldn't recommend doing another cycle for at least 4-8 weeks after finishing one for a female.

ALot of different opinions on it

How does 10 weeks sound to everyone after a hdrol cycle?

Does everyone start preloading supports and then take 2 weeks off their time off?

bloodwork is the best way to tell

Bloodwork FTW! I don't even run one cycle per though :D

Can you re-word that last question? I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

No, not everyone starts preloading supports - that would depend on the individual's preference, but also on the compound being used.

No, preloading support does NOT take two weeks off the time you should have off.
