First Cycle Problems

Hey guys, I've been on a testosterone enanthate cycle at 500 mg a week along side with arimidex eod for about 3 weeks and have a few concerns and questions. First off, I've been having injection problems. I inject 2cc once a week and did first in my right leg and second in left leg and third in right glute. The right leg got extremely sore and couldn't walk. I decided to switch legs for next one, and after a couple days it was very red and very swollen and walking was much more difficult. My right glute was done 2 days ago and there is a red patch that is swollen and is warm, but has little soreness. Why is it that everytime I inject, I am getting a swollen, warm, red area? Is this normal? Also, I am running arimidex at 0.25 mg a day due to my prediposition to gyno, but was wondering how much of my gains with this hinder. In my opinion this will just reduce bloat, fat, and water gain from the cycle, and if that is limiting gains, I don't want those gains. Secondly, when does the enanthate kick in and gains start to be drastic? Finally, when is it considered to be sterile while on cycle as a form of male birth control?

Are you massaging the **** out of your injection sites? Like kicking your own ass almost? I hear that helps.

No offense, but it sounds like you should have done WAY more research before stickin yourself.

Test e should be "felt" by weeks 4-6. By "felt", I mean you will notice a huge surge in your sex drive. Gains should start slowly from week 1.

If using arimidex, water retention will be minimal. As such, your gains will not be "drastic" as "drastic" gains are usually just extra water retention. Also, some people will gain 30 pounds off a small test cycle, others like me will only gain 5-10 solid pounds.

If your injection sites are red, hot ans swollen, you may be using dirty gear and an infection has developed, or your gear may have a high solvent content and you are sensitive to it. If you start feeling other infection symptoms like fever, chills, etc., or if you notice the redness is spreading like a rash, go to the doctor immediately. What brand of test are you using?

Test is not a proven birth control method. Only some people's sperm count is reduced to the point where pregnancy chances are minimal. I wouldn't ever not take other precautions because I thought the gear was making me sterile. Unless you want another mouth to feed.

The inj process is multifaceted. Is your test warmed before injecting? That helps for sure. Also, the massaging is key, as Rugger said. It is also important to mentally prepare yourself for the injection. Relax your mind, because your muscle needs to be relaxed. Use a smooth motion, firm but not "hard", and don't tense up. This is difficult, because a natural (subconscious) reaction (based on mid-brain survival instinct) is to tense, flex, and withdraw when faced with the idea of being impailed by a foreign object (even a thin needle). I have found that learning how to mentally prepare for a shot is half the battle, and is ABSOLUTELY KEY in how the body reacts to the shot. If it slips in smoothly, soreness will fade easily and swelling is unlikely. Good luck!!!

Pain at the injection site is normal...not being able to walk isnt...this indicates one of two things...you are using something with extremely high Benzyl Alcohol content, or your injection procedure isnt the greatest...I assure you that an abcess isnt something you want to deal with. Ive been involved with two on friends of mine, and they are not pleasant experiences.

Good Test E should be painless, but there's been a lot of threads on boards about some really harsh powders from China that have contaminants that are causing lots of issues. Of course if the BA content is high or your sensitive to it it will hurt... bad! I'm 7 weeks into my first injectable cycle of Test E and the injects are painless and easy. At four weeks I was jerking off to Friends reruns (after having sex with wifey twice) ... your libido should be like a 15 year old boy that just got his first porno dvd... Strength started to kick in about that time and really could see in the mirror at 5 - 6 weeks.

The more UGs that pop up, the more you're gonna see gear that is painful to use...

I know tons of people using the gear right now that are all very big and I know the guy I'm getting from is legit. This is my first cycle and did my research, but the reason why I'm askin these questions is because I've always read that test enth shouldnt really be painful. First two shots in quads were painful but the second one was extremely swollen and red. No fever symptoms and I felt fine. The swelling and redness of both are back to normal. I've done glutes, and once again there is redness and little swelling which doesn't surprise me, but a lot less painful than quads. I can proceed to do my 4th injection this week right?
