I'm happy for Joe Pa... frankly, I thought the ride would end this week with the Gophers. Not only did PSU win, they completely dominated Minnesota. I still think OSU will be a loss for the Lions, but it is in Happy Valley and I'd not be totally shocked to see a close game or even another victory. In any case Joe Pa's got 'em bowl bound. And in the current landscape of the Big 10, anything could happen.

Minni is always one of those teams who looks more impressive than they really are. They always find a way to play above their talent and win some games. PSU has improved over last year, but their qb sucks. Regardless of what kind of team PSU puts together, they always play OSU hard and the game is always big. They are the only team besides scUM that is on the scedule every year.

I do think they showed everything they had in their pocket for the Minni game. They way they used Williams reminded me a lot of the way Ginn was used against Okie State last year. OSU has a lot better defense than Minni and a lot faster one. If Williams is their only weapon on O, that isn't enough. OSU's d is the best in the country against the run, and if PSU can't run and if they don't have a very good QB, what do they do?

I am very happy for Joe, but still think he should retire no matter what happens this year. The guy is over 70 years old. I am sure his wife would like him home.

Minny and Sparty, two pretty perrenials that wilt in the heat. Minny will someday, maybe, learn that having a great one dimensional offense, and tuning up on cupcakes, is not good enough to be King of the B10.

DITTO, but you know coaches are very competitve people. As a coach, I would say "shit I'm 5-0, I haven't lost anything, why quit now if I can still win ?"

Calling for cold and rain. Gotta say, this favors OSU. Better passing game, better lines on both sides, takes the crowd out a bit. Looking forward to this game. Grabbing my OSU cd to run my errands with, including this little gem: http://djerb.net/dj-erb-Ohio-State-R...an-Version.mp3
