Hi All

Huge shout out to finaflex for the g8, BCAAs and the free shaker. Great customer support as always from this company.

Took g8 for the first time last night.

Unfortunately for me, it didn't go well. my brain just wouldnt shut off and I had to take a sleeping persciption tablet 3 hours later after not being able to fall asleep.

Spoke to the reps and they said that I should give the tub a big shake before taking it. So going to try 1 scoop again tonight and hope thats why.

Please all note I've slept badly my entire life. Everyone else seems to love g8, so if it doesnt help me, that doesnt mean its not a brilliant product, Im just a non responder like every other sleeping supplement I've ever tried.

Absolutely knackered today but will be gyming and taking the BCAAs, so will let you know about those

Sorry RegisterJr the first day wasnt a success , lets hope we can fix it out :)

In!

Yes, I definitely recommend shaking any supplement tub prior to scooping to make sure the product has the proper consistency that the company formulated it to be.

Last night was just as bad if not worse :(.

Not sure what to say, just I cant experiment anymore in the week with this stuff, work is pretty torturous when I feel like this.

Seems there isnt a single supplement in the world that can help my sleep out

Regarding the BCAAs however :

Taste 10/10 : First sip is a bit sweet but after that it tastes like you are drinking gatorade, absolutely amazing.
Intra 10/10 : Felt I had a lot more "clean" energy during my workout, recovery time inbetween sets was very low
Recovery 10/10 : Spent 90mins hitting my shoulders when I haven't worked out in a month, and DOMs are extremely minimal.

Finaflex BCAA's/SAAs will be my new staple in my supplement stack; shan't be going a gym session without it!

Man, that's horrible. Do you have any allergies that you know of?

This may sound odd, but is there a chance that we sent you STIMUL8 instead of G8? I could understand it not necessarily helping someone with extreme sleep issues, but making it worse?

Yeah man, if it's keeping you up and effecting work I definitely wouldn't take it on work days...

I had to go back and look because I remember someone using it for pre-cardio:

so now we get to the point...i have been mixing .5 scoop of G8 with my full scoop of speedx3 pre cardio workout. i do not recommend this for weight training, just cardio. what this has been doing is making the endorphin rush that causes runners high to occur sooner with more intensity. this truely adds enjoyment and pleasure to something that could be considered boring and mundane. i like this effect so much that i thought i would share!!!
This is the only non-sleep-use I've seen so far, prior to now. But he's mixing it was quite a bit of stims.

Also curious, just cause I'm a little bit confused and concerned, how long after your last stim use are you using this or trying to sleep?

the only stim I use is 2 scoops of alphamine in the morning. This is because my sleep sucks so bad, I need it to get through the day. So I take alphamine at 9am and g8 at 10.30pm, so 13 1/2 hours difference :(

Sub'd..

What is your food intake prior to be ... lets say 2 hours pre-bed.

I too, sleep horrible most nights. Last two nights 3 and 4 hours respectively. When I take G8 though - I get a smooth 6-7. So, do not give up hope.

I dont have food pre bed, usually eat dinner at 8, then bed at 11.

I cant take g8 again this week man, i cant risk my sleep being that bad for 3 nights in a row :(. I think the best thing to do is experiment with dosing on the weekends until I find something that works. 1 scoop may be too little or too much for me.

In the mean time I think im going to go pick up some benadryl and take that pre bed and use g8 on the weekends.

Just please note I really love finaflex, and this supplement not initially working for me does not mean it does not work, I just seem to have absolutely no luck when it comes to this kind of thing!

We know, based on your recent tattoo. Lol

We just hope that we can eventually find you a successful dosing so that your sleep is improved.

We appreciate your honesty Josh!

You might want to start at 1/2 scoop. The one time I carelessly took too much G8 (was busy talking to my daughter and i dumped in two scoops - out of BCAA/SAA and Protein habits)... I could not sleep.

Have you played around with any more G8 dosing recently?

I took 1/2 a scoop on saturday night, and still , just felt like it sped up my brain activity. Id be conscious thinking about whether I had been to sleep or not, and had to keep trying to think whether I had dreamt. It seems I sleep very lightly on it, like, my mind is conscious while im dreaming, if you get me.

Its hard to determine whether Ive actually been asleep or not.

It just doesnt seem to work for me :(

On the plus side, the EAAs are the best thing in my life. Sometimes I just drink it instead of water, its so damn good

it worked originally but last night went back to being as terrible as ever. Started waking up 2 hours earlier and doing some morning cardio in the hope that it will help me sleep

have you tried some medicinal applications? sounds like you probably should see a sleep specialist. do you snore when you do sleep?
maybe you have sleep apnea.

Definitely don't snore. Find it incredibly hard to get comfy. I haven't gone to see a medical specialist, only a doctor and he was of zero help.

FYI my friend tried g8 last night and it knocked him out, so it worked for him :)

Yeah, you definitely need to seek a specialist. There is some sort of chemical imbalance going on, in my unprofessional and untrained opinion.

My friend took g8 last night, took 2 scoops. Said it knocked him out within 15 mins and he didn't wake up during the night.

Said upon waking he found it hard to distinguish between real life and dreaming, but within a couple of minutes it past - no sleep hangover.

Extremely vivid dreams apparently

Will update this thread daily with his comments
