Did 5x5 on benchpress & like 6 sets of BW dips til failure after the 345x5 on backsquat....gf came over while I was shaving naked right after the gym, takes one look at me, & goes, "You look REALLY big right now."
Yesterday did 445 on a highbox squat, which is a PR for that - everything was still sore after from the previous two days so left after my workset. Today is an offday, & tomorrow is the last day of the 8 wk high frequency squat cycle - got 455 for a slow negative partial. Plan on wrecking back or legs afterward since I won't squat again until I attempt a PR within the next wk I'm thinking. 450 or 455 is the goal. It may be a stretch, but nobody ever set PR's by NOT going all out, right???
