    Chicago was awesome. Not lifting for 3 days actually had my knees stop aching for a pause, & it was a stupid enjoyable trip - plus I kept my protein pretty high & definitely didn't gain any weight. Just got some good rest & was able to come back strong for the final week of this routine.

    Tonight's workout:

    Barbell Backsquat 135x5, 185x3, 225x1, 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 390x3 - this was TOUGH. Wasn't sure if I was gonna come out of the hole on rep 3.

    Speed Deadlift 135x9, 225x5, 315x3x6 sets
    Rackpulls (Below Knee) 445x5, 465x1

    This program is taking all of my effort to complete - what started easy has become a real test. The triple at 390 was serious business, & I have to squat 435 for a single to full depth tomorrow - no time or energy for any more work tonight, this took an hour to complete (partially because my buddy who's wrapping up his cycle of Mag is getting ready to max on dead this week & I had to kind of train him concurrently tonight). The rackpulls were for funsies since my buddy had them loaded already & I'd just finished my speed work - but boy my veins were popping during them with the Max Pump!

    Something I've noticed last few days: after I finish with the lady, it doesn't really wanna go down. Normally, I finish, the show's over - but lately I'm staying hard for a bit even after climax, & could easily continue to do work if I so choose. These nitrates have more than one use, FYI.

    The post-climax endurance continues. And I truly believe it's making a difference in the ability to become aroused. Cialis? No. But will it help? I'm strongly inclined to answer in the affirmative. I know Fina is claiming no such things, but I'd urge someone who already bought some to dose it closer to sexual activity & see for themselves.

    Last night worked up to a full true single at 435 on backsquat...yeah buddy! Afterward did 2 15 rep warmups on the HS Row, then 5 sets of 10 on 3 pps, 3x10 on HS Low Row @ 3 pps, & 4x15 on Facepulls @ 80lbs....my back felt so full:

    Yesterday did 445 on a highbox squat, which is a PR for that - everything was still sore after from the previous two days so left after my workset. Today is an offday, & tomorrow is the last day of the 8 wk high frequency squat cycle - got 455 for a slow negative partial. Plan on wrecking back or legs afterward since I won't squat again until I attempt a PR within the next wk I'm thinking. 450 or 455 is the goal. It may be a stretch, but nobody ever set PR's by NOT going all out, right???

    Lol I believe she was referring to my chest/shoulders, unfortunately..... She has commented multiple times though how easy I seem to be getting hard lately since starting the Max Pump. It's absolutely a fact at this point - it's the only thing that's changed in my supplementation lately, & it's consistent.

    It's just plain easier to get & hold an erection, & I'm often harder. This is reason enough to consider this product IMO, especially at under $17/bottle. It's downright fun.

Even hit some ammonia, took it off the rack well, & dived tight....just wasn't strong enough to come out of the hole

    Afterward hit some deadlift, but I was so weak - could only pull 365x6 & 405x6, & it exhausted me. It didn't even feel heavy; I was just too exhausted to pull. I think my CNS is worn from 8 wks of squatting. Today is an off day accordingly, & this week will be a true deload.

    Man those heavy weeks upon weeks of lifting destroy the CNS. I'm a bit of an oddity in the aspect that my CNS won't sputter out unless I'm about four months in on going all out intensity but when I do hit that wall it takes me much longer then most to rebound, due to the longer periods.

    Get that deload in and you will smash that lift next time bud. Awesome work.

I think you really might be right....when I took it off, it felt good, & I really thought there was a very good chance of getting the lift. 9 less lbs & a week off heavy lifting beforehand will probably make the difference. Plan on getting some good volume in & enjoying the Pump!

  20. Ordered some supps today, & as much as it pains me to spend the cash right now, I'm happy with what I bought. Tired of wasting money trying iffy things; stuck to more fundamental things I know feel right for me.

    Multis, fish oil, CLA, joint support, protein, bcaas - these are things I'm going to use day in & day out.

    Can't wait to hit the gym after a quick haircut later - I'm really thinking some pressing/shoulder/tricep work is in order with a good load of volume on the menu

  21. Well, 2 nights ago I benched light - think I did like 5x5 with 205, then a set of 205x10. Followed it up with some seated shoulder press, then seated behind the neck press in a pyramid between the two, then some 10-15 reps sets on decline bench. 3 sets of lateral raises & 5 sets of 15 on facepulls later, & I was feeling pretty pumped.

    But LAST night, that was another level - 5 sets of wide-grip pullups (7,6,7,6,6) back & forth between 5 sets of BW dips @ 15 reps each, then 5 sets of widegrip smith machine rows @ 12 reps/ each back & forth between 3 sets of tricep cable pressdowns (heavy), then 2 sets each of underhand pulldowns & one-armed reverse tri cable ext, 15ish reps each set - all in like 55 min. Sweaty & swollen - the pump was actually painful driving home!!!

  23. Today was an off day - legs are recovering from yesterday, it's a deload week, & living the good life. Shook the city to pick some apples in the cowtowns on the IL side of the river, had a big country lunch w/ foot high pie, . Lots of tuna for meal 3 but a bunch of sweet fatty italian sausage & homemade fudge with strong coffee for meal 4. There's going to be baked apple pie later & probably getting some burgers or vietnamese in the city tonight. And kids at the gym come up to me saying they can't gain weight no matter what they try

    I've been on Max Pump for over 3 weeks now, & have a very good idea of my thoughts on it at 4 caps/day. As such, yesterday was my first experiment - tried 1 scoop sample of Purus's Condense with 4 caps Max Pump w/ my preworkout meal of a big bowl of flax/granola pumpkin cereal & some whey blend/soy isolate. Kept the weight light to deload & rest periods lower. Prob 1 min between pulls & 2.5 between squats, 45 min maybe total.

    Speed Deadlift 135x12, 225x6, 315x3x6 sets
    Barbell Backsquat 135x10, 185x10, 205x10, 225x10, 245x10

    I used the Condense w/ the Max Pump to see how my body would react to such a large dose of nitrates at once - pumps were incredible; arms were as vascular as an upper body routine normally just from holding the bar squatting light. Legs carry too much bf to see veins, but my trunks were looking THICK. Def more full than usual. Pumps lasted couple hours; difficult to walk DOWN stairs because I was so full feeling. Not sore, pumped. Mainly quads.

    Also got a bad headache for about an hour after the workout - friends I've known that have taken large doses of Cialis as a pre workout pump aid have experienced the same, so I wasn't that startled.

    Today was 4 caps over 2 meals (quite veiny in the arms in the sun several hours after 1st dose of the day!). Going to use 6 caps tomorrow - 4 pre/ 2 post. Thinking bis & back for some great swelling - I expect the bigger concentration of nitrates to provide a more pronounced lasting pump like yesterday's workout provided. Excited!

  24. yeah the headaches after dosing excess amount of nitrates are not a good thing - denotes blood pressure elevation
    even tho our formulation of nitrate is different than anything else on the market, is still something you need to keep an eye on and be aware of, when combining with other products

    for the record, FINAFLEX does not advise the use of addtl nitrate products in combination with Max Pump, you do so at your own risk

    Absolutely. I knew this 100% already before I attempted, which is why it didn't startle me in the slightest when it occured. Finaflex says right on the bottle even when dosing over 4 caps/day of Max Pump to split the doses (to avoid too many nitrates at once).

    Today, I was able to use 2 caps at lunch and a bit later 4 caps preworkout with just an isolate shake - zero G.I. issues, even with such a slight amount of food, which is a big plus for this product IMHO. Deload week is playtime for me, so decided to do some heavy strict curls, heavy biceps, pullups, & a DC set of pulldowns followed by a DC set of barbell curls - getting 6 caps total in before my workout over 2 doses yielded EXCELLENT results for me:

  28. Honest question and no offense: why the high nitrate doses? I read that NOx at the muscle fiber, that's been stressed, increases nutrient uptake but does the fiber grow significantly? Or, do you guys just like the temporary "pump"?

  29. I was playing around with higher doses for both the pump and the endurance aspect. I can say though that when you get into the higher doses of nitrates both of these do in fact increase, but not enough to justify the possible sides.

    With split doses it's doable but taken all at once. ...i would not recommend it at all.
