I added too many calories and blew up. Moderation is the key.

Strenght gains were insane on 1 alpha.

    I'll start 1 andro soon....when it comes in.....damn mail

My thinking was slow gains means more kept gains at the end of PCT. Good luck with this brother.

Kenpo glad the lull was temporary, sorry to have been absent I was sick and been in bed most of the week. Good to hear you are still crushing it. We all get time when rest is very important and our bodies will make sure we become aware of it quickly.

Thanks Kleen. Can't keep a good lifter down too long! Glad to hear you're feeling better. Was it the Norivirus going around?

Bent over raise are so fine!!!

Rear delts are so important to get that 3d shoulder look.

I always put them first when I train shoulders.

    Good job champ!!!

Thanks Irish. I used to practice boxing after my Kenpo karate. This is my boxer's workout:

    1) Jump Rope: 5 mins
    2) Wood Choppers using DB
    3) Bent Over Figure8 using Kettlebell
    4) Standing Arnold Press
    5) Speed Bag : 2 mins on 1 min off repeat 5 times
    6) Heavy Bag: same sequence
    7) Leg lifts from hanging on pull-up bar

Cardio galore with the added advantage of building muscle.

Keep the lifts heavy heavy and the drop in volume is ok. Keep plugging along!

Thanks Steve. That last set felt "light" but I didn't want to push it further at this time. At my age you've got to really watch the lower back ( I was wearing a belt the whole time).

Man you are crushing it in here. I am not sure if it was that virus you mentioned or what. I am still working to get my hydration back on point. I am drinking almost 2 gallons a day and still get dry mouth and some cramping and what not. I did get a bunch of paint thinner spilled on me and wonder if maybe some of it soaked into my skin and just has my body in revolt right now.

Congrats on that killer PR for the Deads, and that boxers routine looks awesome.

Thank you. Great to have all you guys behind me. You may want to google the paint thinner ingredients to see if there is an absorption issue. This would make you feel sick.

Congrats on PR ... man don't think I will ever see one of those again as my lifts for power aren't what they used to be. I am still pretty strong just can't push my joints like that... have to train smart. Anywho think I've shown you guys what that can bring

Thanks DW. So far the joints feel great for 53. I do see a day coming that I'll dial it back and make it up with volume training.

    PCT Day 18 (Weight 165) +7 lbs

Tried Hack Squats today. That's a "new" feeling! Lol

Also bought a wheel of death! What a medieval mechanism of pain! Did 5 rolls and thought my abs were on fire! This is something I'm adding for core building.

    Squats
    165x5
    185x5
    205x5
    225x5

    Hack Squats
    125x10
    145x10x2

ABE is versatile, drop cals and the weight drops immediately. Increase cals and weight increases.

    PCT Day 20 (Weight unknown)

In San Diego on a business trip. Gym is not bad but the guests are hard to deal with. Stupid people are taking up multiple machines and free weight stations without consideration for the next guy! I guess I'm spoiled with the home gym.

    Bench Press
    160x8
    180x8
    200x6
    220x3

    Cable Inner Chest Pulls
    60x8x3
    70x8

    Face Pulls
    140x8x3
160x8 Can't be right I think machine is labeled incorrectly
