Left shoulder has bursitis according to doc. But in this case I was just getting used to the decline dumbbell. New move as I usually do these with barbell. Felt unstable trying to steady the weight and felt it tweak the shoulder.

Starting to feel back pumps. Not bad yet. Headaches are not as severe. BP still great. Increased calories are welcomed because appetite is way up now.

    Day 8 ( Weight 162 ) +4 lbs

Ate 3300 cals yesterday. Felt good eating as the appetite is still high. Headaches are still an issue but should be subsiding in a couple of days based on my 1Andro cycle. Feel that surge of aggression now and have to watch my tongue.

Nice work sorry to hear about the lingering headaches. I can't wait to hear how things are going as of next week. I think it should really be in full effect.

Smash down those back pumps with taurine and potassium before they become an issue man. I had some for a week or two and they were killer. Getting plenty of water btw? Could be a cause for the headaches and back pumps.

    Welcome into my log Monte!

Ordered taurine yesterday and drinking over a gallon of water a day. Had a week of headaches when I ran 1Andro. No worries here as today I'm so far headache free. Checked BP and it's 125/82.

Please tell me you did not order caps of taurine. Best deal in the world is the bulk powder on nutra. Can get a kilo I think under $20. Zero taste as long as you don't try and chew the taurine then it's a tiny bit bitter, but I just dump a scoop in my mouth and wash it down. If I did pills which are generally 500mg I'd need to take 8 in the morning and 8 at night. f that.

Nope. Ordered the powdered taurine. Swallowing all these capsules is hard on the esophagus. Stuck in there at times. I read 2 to 3 grams per day. True?

It is different from person to person. I'd start at 5g. When I ran into them I started at 4g in the morning and 4g at night and I was instantly relieved so that's where I run mine.

Depends. U could start out at 3g but most people wind up around 5g ed. I myself need 7g but that's pretty rare. I would try it for a few days at 3g and see how it goes but you will probably need more I think.

attempt to pinpoint the lethargy, mark..
ie - are we not eating enough? are we training too many days/week? training too long in the individual session?
some lethargy is to be expected, when you are pushing yourself to new heights..
is not always a hormonal or product cause

Also when you train could have an effect. I train as soon as I wake up and eat. If I wait longer into the day I'm not nearly as effective. Those back pumps will really sap the energy out of you also. When you get the taurine try three grams in the morning and then three more pre workout for a couple days. If you train early do five grams pre and then one or two before bed. Do that for two or three days then just go to give grams pre workout and see how it treats you. I also throw in 400 mg potassium when I wake up of they get too bad.

Also one last thing lol. BCAA+SAA has taurine get your intra workout and an extra dose of taurine to help with those pesky back pumps.

watch that back big boy. if it doesn't bother you go for those a standing presses I was just thinking of the back pumps and looking out for us older dudes I like to isolate them with an upright bench . just my thoughts brother , do it till your satisfied! this bodybuilding lady I am friends with on facebook finishes with lying rear delt flyes and man they rip your delts up try them next time see how you like them. really isolates the delts.

Thanks Chef. I'm wearing a tight belt with all the standing presses to protect this old guy's delicate lower back. With the belt I feel well supported and safe.

Will have to try that delt exercise. Thank you.

I know a lot of people have pushed hard with 1-alpha and it's taken a bit of a toll at times...

Thanks DW. I'm expecting a big strength increase and some joint issues in the coming weeks. In fact, it's starting now. In preparation I'm hitting larger amounts of fish oil, glucosamine and Joint Help supps routinely. I also realize my age and will be dialing back weight accordingly. Last thing I want is to damage a muscle or tendon.

One thing I'm noticing is that the 1Alpha makes you feel invincible and 25 again! Feel free to dial me back if you guys see the weights increasing too much

    lift smart, yet Alpha

with the joint issues mark - can't recall, but have you run our 550XD yet?
could stack these 2 together, or just finish up the run with 550 when 1-alpha is spent..

and i don't often advertise in other forum members logs (kinda frown on that actually), but this time ima make an exception

if you haven't seen this, you really should..
