DCP before work out?

Hi guys,

I understand that DCP should be dosed 30 mins before cardio on empty stomach to maximize effectiveness.....how about lifting weights? I usually eat around 90 mins before WO....nothing big though, usually 1/3 cup of brown rice + chicken + some nuts / protein powder + 1 tbsp of coconut oil. will it make the DCP less effective in burning fat if I dose it 30 mins before WO (60 mins after meal)?

thanks

That is a pretty low- carb preworkout. You will burn through that in no time.

DCP will enhance your fuel substrate shift to fatty acids effectively. It works very well to enhance quality weightlifting workouts as well as cardio.

I sweat like a fat kid on meth when I dose it pre-WO.

Fap fap fap
I typically have a high carb meal around an hour pre-wo -- roughly 60-80g carbs.

Should I cut this meal out or cut some of the carbs if I'm looking to recomp using DCP/OEP stack?

I'm actually in a caloric surplus daily also :silly:

It would probably be a very good idea, if cutting, to drastically reduce this. I find a very small amount of carbs provides an instant energy, and as it burns up, provides a nice transition into fatty acids as primary cardio/lifting fuel.
