Clean Eating Green Bean Casserole
Crumb Topping Ingredients
2 slices clean, toasted bread
1/4 cup roasted almonds (no sugar added)
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 lb. frozen green beans
1-1/2 cups Clean Eating Cream Of Mushroom Soup, warmed and thickened with:
2 tbsp. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. cornstarch or tapioca starch
Simply warm the soup over high heat and whisk in the flour and starch.
~ Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 1 Place the frozen green beans in a casserole and pour the soup on top.
Step 2 Top with as much topping as you like (you dont have to use it all, but you can).
Step 3 Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the topping has a nice crunch to it.
Step 4 Cool and serve.
