GOD DAMN shaving scars on abs!

ok so i shave my ****ing hairy ass chest and abs, and pecs shaving is fine but my stomach has these scars from shaving in the past.. there like dark purplish scars not bumps, ingrowns, acne or anything like that just scars from shaving in the pass as i keep shaving igot more little bumps that eventually go away and fade into these purple shaving scars...

any solutions like should i just use acne medicine? or hydrocortizone cream ?

I take it you have never tried waxing? I will never do that again. Worst pain I have ever felt!

It's not great mate, lasts about as long as shaving. I'd go the wax route if your can stand the pain

another vote for waxing...its not that bad at all. My girl does it for me when she has it out to do herself.

if your on a hormonal product DO NOT WAX! the hormones can make your skin sensitive and if you think razor bumps are bad then you have a whole other thing comin trust me....or ask an esthetician....they wont wax you if they know your on cycle....mabye refine your shaving technique....
first get a good salt scrub like your gf uses and scrub the area about to be shaved....this will get rid of any dead cells(thats what causes ingrown hairs and those nosty bumps!).....then when your shaving your stomach i always found the least irratating way to be to start in the middle around your belly button and swipe lenghtwise across your stomach....then repeat for the other side....dont forget to use some type of post shave product to kill any bacteria left over.....i just use 70% isopropyl alchohol....

Same here....except she doesn't wax herself, just me. The razor suffices just fine on her minuscule blond hairs, lucky bitch....
