EndoAmp Max, right? We recommend taking EndoAmp 1 hour prior to training. It's primary purpose (Phosphatidylserine) is to mitigate erratic fluctuations in serum cortisol concentration. This helps to potentially limit detrimental effects on the hypertrophy process.
Taking it before bed wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea either. During a fasting state in the late night/early morning hours, your body will increase serum cortisol release. Cortisol mobilizes muscle protein (amino acids) to support gluconeogenesis (glucose formation in the liver) by inhibiting protein synthesis and stimulating protein catabolism. Excess glucocorticoids can deplete protein stores in muscle, skin, connective tissue and bone.
Now, cortisol is not being inhibited here with our product, or preventing its normal homeostatic effects; it's only looking to mitigate those erratic and undesireable fluctuations that can set off an unpleasant environment for muscle hypertrophy or retention.
