Don't overdo it on the cardio at all. Also, cutting weight for your first meet isn't necessary unless you plan on breaking some sort of record. How much do you need to lose?

5 pounds. I'm quite a bit over the world record for the back squat and dead lift, if the official is there. But I'll be breaking state records for my weight class.

Taking an Epsom salt bath can take off 2lbs alone.
PowerliftingWatch.com should count your weights regardless as long as it's a sanctioned meet.

5 pounds is quite a bit considering you're trying to compete 114 correct?
Caitlyn trout recently wrote an article on how she cuts for meets, she's kind of a monster at it.
I'd back off on the cardio, water manipulation is probably the smarter way to do it provided its a 24 hour weigh in.

Also you said 200# squat is the goal in another thread. I don't think that's a world record. Unless you're competing junior 13-15

I only ask because that's the same class my girlfriend competes in and she's hit above that in competition. And it's not even an American record. So you may be off a bit. Unless its a smaller federation.

It's an international power lifting association (IPA) meet. They have the world records on line, which I'm guessing is just through their federation. That's what I'm going off of.

Gotcha. Yeah. They have it set up weird between amateur records and pro records there's also a bunch of records not set yet.
But either way it looks like you should crush them. So good luck! But it's still your first meet so play it a bit conservative with the openers and dropping the weight. Especially since your squat is 20% above the record the last thing you want is to mess up and bomb out.
