There are a lot of people out there, powerlifters in specific, who are plum crazy about power bars. These healthy snacks-on-the-go can end up quite an expense if you eat them regularly. Have you ever considered making your own?
There are a tremendous amount of recipes out there, pretty much one for every taste, and the beauty of it is that you get to decide exactly what goes in and what stays out. This is especially convenient for people with allergies or particular tastes. For example, not everyone likes raisins. Making your own means you get to enjoy power bars cheaper and exactly how you want them!

Similar to the gluten-free diet, the dairy-free diet can be both required or desired. In the end, there are a fair amount of people out there who for whatever reason cannot or choose not to consume dairy products. This recipe has in it peanut butter, raisins, carob powder, soy protein and toasted sunflower seeds, but it does not contain dairy products.
