peak plasma levels, for one.

it takes a while to build up....

also, when you ingest them there is a rapid spike, which would lead to some significant side effects if you took one large dose instead of 7 small doses

additionally, a rapid spike in testosterone typically leads to a larger spike in E2....

fine, as long as the doses are reasonable and stable.

I do know a couple guys who were borderline suicidal on high dose clomid, tho.... (edit: I'm talking about 100 mg/day for several weeks)
