Going to run a cycle of orals soon. Do I need to run a PCT if I'm on TRT? I've been on 300mg of Test E/ week for a couple years now.

Holy sh1te how can you be on TRT and not know the answer to this?

In your own words: WHAT IS TRT?

Um, testosterone replacement therapy? Not sure what you are asking. When i first started my test was 190. My doc slowly increased my dosage, and I'm at 300mg/ week and keeping my test at about 500. Back to my original question, I don't think i need a pct if my main source of test is coming from a needle and not natural production. It's this true?
Edit- just re read my script, 250/ week

TRT injections or gel?

To answer the original question though, no you do not need to pct if on TRT.

Answered OP above. But still a bit confused that 250mg/week only gets you to 500. A lot of variables, but those are not good numbers for that dose. What's your blood draw protocol?

I have bloods done every 6 months, after eating a pound of chicken, otherwise I'll pass out. After work around 5 pm

That is a pretty strange protocol but if your doctor condones it I guess it's ok.

There is something else going on if you are chewing up test like that. I would be seeking another opinion. You don't just keep throwing more test at the problem to see if it works, that is lazy and unprofessional.

I don't know much about hormonal processes, but I've had full bloods done multiple times, and supposedly everything checks out except the test. What else could be going on that can't be deyermined from blood tests?

Just for the formality, is it 250mg/ml or 200mg/ml?

You said you take the test at 5PM after work. That time your test is at its lowest. You are probably tired, with high cortisol and at the process of ingestion. Of the worst environments for blood tests.

It is advised to take most of the blood tests fasted, early in the morning. You may try that next time.

Im no doctor, just expressing my thoughts. Lets wait for other opinions as well

Not necessarily. He isn't taking his blood test properly (he takes it after eating in the evening).

200mg/ml. At 1.25ml. Is the concern that this an unsafe dosage?

Well its a large dose for TRT and long term there is a potential for more sides. Remenber that no drug comes side free. If you can achieve same or even better levels with 100mg that will be better for you.

When is your next blood test? Consider taking it fasted, first thing in the morning. After a 6-7 hours sleep

Next test is November, I will try your suggestion. Only thing that sucks is I will definitely pass out doing it fasted, had happened 4 times already.

As far I know it makes no difference. Did estrogen results come within range?

You don't go through the same fluctuations in testosterone when you are taking exogenous test because you are no longer producing test and he is taking quite a large amount to be riding where he is.

My opinion is that there is another reason he can't get levels higher on that amount.

Any idea what it could be that wouldn't show on a blood test?

I don't know what labs you've had, but something I'd be discussing with a specialist.

Could it possibly be just underdosed since it's coming from Portugal?
