Blood work and Feel like crap...need help asap PLEASE!

Sup guys, if this post is TL;DR skip to the summary at the bottom.

It's been a long time since I have posted on here. i tried a brief cycle of mechabol back in march but before I got going my life got a bit crazy and I quit after about 2 weeks. I didn't doa pct bc I kept the dose low and from my research the amount of time/mecha I was taking didnt warrant a full pct at that time.

Anyways, fast forward half a year later and I have just been in a rut. I finally went to the doctor and asked for bloodwork, everything came back "normal" but we all know that normal doesnt equate to ideal for most people.

I do not have the bloodword in front of me, but I remember my total test was 562...a guy my age should be averaging 650-680 depending on who you ask. Ideally you want to be at 800+ (preferably 1000).

I fell into a pretty deep depression, developed anxiety disorders and that impacted all facets of my life. My gym schedule ceases to exist, diet was ****, stopped all supplements, i have lost 20lbs, my libido's gone, morning wood gone, erection strength is inconsistent, ejaculate volume inconsistent. I think that while I am not in the offical "low" range of total test, I am not at where I need to be.

This brings me to my next question. I have started eating a high fat, high protein diet, carbs come from fruit and veggies (no grains or dairy for me). So I am at least getting back into a test/health friendly diet. It's essentially a paleo diet.

Aside from that, is it possible for me to get my test back into the 680-900 range by just lifting and eating right? I know compunds and lifting boost test a ton, so I would probably get the noobie gains and increase my test that way. However, should I look into soloing clomid at 25mg for a few months? I don't want to go on full time TRT, nor do I want to try test-gel, just something to pick my base levels back up.

I would say these sexual issues started for me about a year or so ago so I am in NO WAY blaming or deflecting blame onto the Mechabol, many a user have had great success with that product. In fact, I thought taking mechabol and gaining more weight would eventually improve my sexual functioning down the road.

Another item I am aware of is Porn Addiction and Porn Induced ED, I definitely have some of these issues but they also are similar to those of Low T (either clinical or sub-clinical).

My doctor thinks my Test is fine, and doesnt know much about Porn Induced ED, hence why I am posting this and turning to you guys. I plan on ditching the porn and going no fap for a while anyways, but if that isnt what the issue is (i.e. I have sub clinical low t) then I would hate to go through that wiating for a solution that won't come.

Okay so in summary:

I feel like ****,
I have all symptoms of low t (although while I am skinny I still have muscle tone).
I have had a lot of issues that could cause low t (stress, depression, poor diet, lack of excercise).
My Total T levels are below avg for my age range.
However I also have symptoms of Porn Induced Ed...

I ask you guys for advice on whether a 180 in lifestyle (back to the gym with compund lifts, eating right, sleeping right, etc...) would be enough to turn the tide (along with no fap, the benefits are supposedly there whether you are addicted to porn or not). Or should I try using low dose of clomid to kick things up a notch? i just want to feel like a normal 20 yr old again. :-(

Another note, I am currently taking 10mg of Viibryd, it's an SSRI. These are notorious for sexual dysfunction, however Viibryd supposedly doesnt have these sort of negative sides. Also, these issues started before I was on the Viibryd. Things may have been exagerated by the meds, but I still think something else maybe going on.

Sorry for the War and Peace length post. I will be able to post additional bloodwork and reference ranges tonight (Prolactin, DHT, Free Test, LH, FSH, Thyroid, etc...). Just let me know what you would want to see (I dont think i have Estradiol or SHBG).

There is not really an "ideal" range. 562 is perfectly fine. The fact that you are stressed, depressed, poor diet, and don't exercise is probably causing you to feel like ****, not low T.

Right but how do I know if the low t caused the crud feelings and depression rather than vice versa?

Would it be possible to get my natural t back up to the 700 range by just diet lifting and avoiding estrogen raising/test killing items (I.e. Heating up food in plastics)?

I never get morning wood anymore, could that be from depression or is that most likely low t? The only nightly erections I get are reflex reactions from a full bladder. Once I urinate the erection saps away in less than a minute.

Total test 562... thinks he has low test.

I'm much younger than you and my total test was like 225. DAFUQ?

Its alright. I just see alot of these threads where people are obviously not low test but claim they are. I'm 18, test level isn't OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!! MUST BE LOW T! :)

Do you think I could get my levels back to an "optimal range" with getting back into heavy lifts and wind sprints (my HITT on Tues and Thurs?). Aka is raising your total t levels by 100-200 possible to do naturally? And in your opinion my issues should not be from my test levels but just other crap

I would put money on it being the SSRI, I see hundreds of these cases a day best advice I can give is taper off the SSRI over a month or more get on some natty mood enhancers. (5htp, st johns wart, p5p) hit the gym start easy work up to a good hard routine flip tires aggressive workouts let off some steam. You need to change your life before you end up in the mental health treatment centers.


I don't mean to seem harsh but I see this literally everyday it makes me rather sad seeing treatment plans for guys like you and everyone is an SSRI and benzo.. Make a complete lifestyle change now.

Harbonah - thanks for the advice...viibryd is typically dosed at 40mg e/d. I started getting crazy insomnia and other side effects at 20mg. I pushed through the sides for about two weeks then came back to 10mg e/d. I have only been on them since late June. I have a follow up appt with my doc soon and I will ask him if I can taper from 10 to 5 to 2.5 and then kick em for good over the course if a month. I am then guessing it takes about another month got your body to begin feeling normal from being off SSRI (so I have read). I hear good things about those natural mood boosters (as well as lean xtreme and reduce xt for cortisol drop). I wonder thought if I should stick with an all natural approach for a bit (aside from the essential protein powder, multi vitamin, creatine, joint/tendon support, and protein powder)? Maybe I take a liver and kidney cleanse product to help my body reset.

Greg/Everyone - I did not get my estrogen or SHBG tested.

Here are some of the numbers that may be useful:

Fasting
25 yr old Caucasian male.

Total Tes - 562ng/dl (range is 250-1100)

DHT - 50ng/dl (range is 16-79)

Free Test - 98.4pg/ml (range is 35-155)

Zinc - 79mcg/dl (60-130)

Prolactin 5.3ng/ml (range 2-18.5)

LH - 2.5miu/ml (range is 1.5-9.3)

FSH - 3.7miu/ml (range is 1.6-8.1)

B12 - 793pg/ml (range is 210-1100)

*IGF-1 - 8ng/ml (range is 5-34)

TSH - 1.07miu/l (range is 0.40-4.5)

Free T4 - 1.3ng/dl (range 0.8-1.8)

Ferritin - 92ng/ml (range 20-345)

Complete CBC w/ differential is all normal.

Full metabolic and electrolyte panels are normal.

Liver and Kidney Panel are normal.

Lipid panel (full breakout) is normal.

*IGF-1 - My endo kept asking if I had diabetes in my family as, even though it's listed in range, my he said my IGF-1 was slightly elevated for my age and background. Everything else with my metabolic, liver, kidney panels all are fine so he wasn't overly concerned. He did mention pre-type 2 diabetes if often accompanied with loss of libido and all that jazz but since I don't have any other triggers in my bloods nor am I overweight or a high risk candidate, I shouldn't be worried. Other than IGF-1 is there anything else I should look at my bloodwork for additional insight?

I have a follow up in December with my endo. He wants me to get the following tested a week before my appt:

HbA1c
B7 and Biotin
Total Test
Free Test
DHT
DHEAS, 17 hydroxyprogesterone
UA micro albumin
Uric Acid
PSA

Could anyone give me insight as to why he is now checking DHEAS, PSA, Uric Acid, UA micro albumin, and hba1c? I am not too familiar with these items and my research said they could be used to analyze numerous health conditions.

Also in the results provided above, are there any items that while within a normal range, are still a bit off or suspicious?

Lastly, aside from Estrogen, T3, and SHBG, is there anything else I should ask to be run and tested?

Sorry for the lengthy post. Thanks again for all your help.

Not to make light of things but wtf is "porn induced ed"

Stress, poor diet, poor sleep etc will mess with energy/test lvls. Your numbers are not that off unless I missed something. Work on fixing the above issues.

Look up 'your brain on porn' essentially porn desensitizes people to the real thing and messes with your dopamine receptors, you essentially get fried out at your dopamine centers. The more hardcore the porn is, the worse it could affect you. This is why 'no-fap' is getting some play as more than a stupid challenge. No fap for 90 days usually makes you sensitized like a teenager to everything again, girls that are 3s are 9s to you (that could be a bad or good thing depending on your morals and standards haha). There's more to it but it's becoming more and more prevalent in addiction and mental health discussions.

this is the first thread i have commented on here but this really hit home for me because i was in a similar situation just a few years ago (just turned 24) i went through a period where i tried just about everything imaginable tren,halotestin,igf-1 etc... when i was 20 completly ****ed my self up low test high depression and anxiety. much lower test then you have lol but i can still relate, everyone is different and honestly i don't feel good unless iam at least like 650 total test and especially if my free test is low. my suggestion would be to start taking clomid 25mg a day or nolva with a moderate ai dose and lay off the porn and masturbation and especially get your diet and lifting on track. take low dose cialis or viagra to get your confidence back in the bedroom then ease off of it. take it or leave it just my two cents.

You FSH & LH are both on the low end of normal. That is one reason why your Total T can be lower then normal.

The other reason is if your Estrogen is too high, which you didnt get tested form Ask your doc to test your Estrogen.
If your Estrogen comes back in the higher range, you can take something to lower your Estrogen, that will essentially
raise your Total T. Your body will be forced to make more Test because your Estrogen is getting low and it needs
Test, in order to convert to Estrogen.
