I made the mistake of going on a prolonged cycle probably for around a year or so maybe a little less. I would stop for a month, take clomid, and not give my body any rest. Bottom line... i was a moron. It has been maybe 5-6 months since ive been off. I've taken clomid, maca, etc but I still have weak erections and no libido. I have to depend on cialis if I wanted to have sex. Its horrible. I am only 22 years old. I'm afraid this will never get better. I've also already been to the doctor etc who basically didn;t know anything but said my test came back normal. He gave me no details on anything else as far as hormone levels etc.

I really need some advice on what to do to get my hpta back. I am just hoping there is some way. thanks for the help guys.

TRT man. I don't see you getting your t levels back up. I'm saving you a lot of time from wasting time of researching how to get back your test levels so don't make this difficult. Only way is TRT.

Mistake made, consequence is being dealt with, so hope you learned. Not trying to be a ****. Just not one of the type of guys giving you false hope and making you waste your money on stuff that won't work.

sorry to hear brah

Sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) is a glycoprotein that binds to sex hormones, specifically testosterone and estradiol.

bud the probelm is @ your age your body produce endogenous hormones levels but if you make a BAD CYCLE you LITERALLY F*** your Natural Hormones Output

well go to your endo and explain the situation you have two options

TRT - Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG)

whoa whoa whoa slow down.

Go to another doctor. Get blood work done and post the results. Normal is considered 250-1000+ng/dl on the total T range. Free T is calculated as a percentage of your total T, based upon the bioavailability in the blood stream, determined by the SHBG factor.

Now, just because your doctor says you are normal, doesn't mean you are...like I said docs consider 250 normal, and thats the average of an 80yr old man. You need to be around 600+.

The worst thing you can do is jump back on testosterone replacement. You need to attempt a restart. If your nuts worked good before and everything used to be okay, there is definite hope that you should recover back to normal. It may just take a long long time.

I would visit a profession anti-aging D.O. like Dr. Crisler who specializes in hpta and trt/restarts.

The best thing you could do, is get on HCG at a decent dose. Not too much, and maybe use a very small bit of estrogen control. Run the HCG for a month of two to help bring the testicles back up to size. This is not going to restart you, its just going to bring your leydig cells back up to functional ability. If you balls will respond, you will atleast feel normal again as the HCG should step and pump up your T to normal, if not higher than normal levels.

Then, come off the HCG and start clomid for a long long time. Run it for a few months at 25-50mg. Not just 3-4 weeks...I mean 10 weeks+ at low dosage you should be fine.

So goal 1, get the nuts back up and full, goal 2 get the pituitary/LH up and pumping. Use estrogen control as necessary.

Ultimately you need to see a doctor, but i'm 99.9% sure this is what they will do for you. If you go to the wrong doc they will put you on straight TRT and you prolong the condition.

Thanks for the advice. I am already on clomid. |Could I take the HCG with clomid? And just continue taking clomid for the next few months? I am unable to go see a doctor right now because I have no insurance. I am a college student and got kicked off my parents insurance after turning 22. So Im screwed in that sense. I have to rely on advice I recieve here and through personal research.

You need bloodwork first to determine your test levels. Post them if you have them. You wouldnt take clomid with HCG as HCG is synthetic LH, which will shutdown your own LH production. Clomid increases LH output..

If you feel that your balls are shruken/atrophied and clomid isn't bringing them back, then you can stop clomid and start HCG. THeres no point in running both like the guy above me said.

HCG is simply used to bring the testicles back to size. But it can also be used as hormone replacement if your pituitary refuses to restart.
