I am 19 years old, and a freshman in college. I am 6'6" and 250 lbs. I was an ectomorph for most of high school played soccer. Had an accident, discovered lifting and gained a lot of muscle in a year of hard lifting. I was 200-210 at the time of the accident. Any ideas would be appriciated... do your worst...

The photobucket.com worked... THANKS!

Well, besides the fact you are ugly as crap, not bad!

Seriously, your double bicep was your best pic to me. You are a little heavier around the middle than the last time I saw you. Still looking nicely preportioned for being 6'6 and 250lb. Hey, not everybody gets looks kiddo.

Keep u[ the good work.

My thoughts: Work on Chest/Back. Your shoulders/arms are by far your best feature. If you had a better V taper, you'd have a impressive look. goodluck.

PS. Always gotta work on the wheels.

Well for starters, if you want some quick gratification in yourself... grab a few bottles of Lipoderm Ultra, and a bottle of Pure Cap (capsaisin), and go to town on the spare tire (You have the same body type as me, sucks being predisposistioned to hold fat only there). Anyway, also grab a good fat burner. Hit up the light cardio (65% heart max), for 45 mins to an hour 3 times a week or so (Along with your lifting of course), and change your diet to a Low GI, 40/40/20 ratio Protein/Carbs/Fat ... shave off the extra fat, then do an all out lean bulk... eating clean, and lots of it.

As said before... work on the wheels.

If you need clarification on anything in this post... do a little reading... especially in the training and nutrition area.

Thanks for the advice! I'll remember it in a couple of years! I dont really want to try and shed my fat... I am bulking, but its really hard to do it lean in college... specially when your on a campus with the number three cafe in the nation... ;) not that I dont watch what I eat. But they dont list the nutritional facts, so I have to guess at three meals of the day... I have the body that sheds really quickly too. So I am not to worried about my spare tire

But I thought I would reiterate that I am 6'6"... and that the hardest thing to do is bench when your arms are that long! Not making excuses, just explaining. Here are my lifting weights.

BP:245 for 6 reps
DL:395 for 6 reps
Squat: 315 for 6-8 reps

I have a hard time doing pull ups because I started at 200 lbs. with no upper body strength. I am working really hard on that with an assisted pull up machine. Because the college gyms lat pull down machine is wack.

Thanks for the tips on cardio. I try to get in 3-5 sessions of 15-35 minutes... matters on how much I need to study!

Thanks for all the help you guys, any more opinions or just motivation would be helpful!

Dont do BB Bench if you are tall. I know the feeling, I'm 6'7". I use dumbbells when doing bench, and it has by far done more for my chest than BB has.

Thanks! I will try that more. I do get a better pump with dumbells now that I think of it, but I always had heard barbell for mass dumbbells for definition. On that note though, at 6'7" how do you go about your thighs? Mine are the biggest part of my body (use to race road bicycles) but I am not totally sure about how do foot positioning when your our height. I like to do mine with a really wide stance toes point out, because then I hit my inner thigh more which has seriously been lacking... do to the biking. But even doing close stance doesn't seem to hit my out sweeps, even with ass in the grass. Any suggestions on that problem would be nice! :)

Truthfully, up until I hired Bobo, I never did squats...they just dont work with my body type. I always did leg presses, heavy leg extensions, and super slow leg presses instead. Now that I do squat, I take a bit wider than shoulder stance and point toes outward...still I cannot do crap for weight, but that is what Bobo wants me to do, so that is what I do.

Awesome, I used to never do squats, just cuz they hurt... but once I got over 200 lbs, they became a lot of fun, now they are my bread and butter! I like leg presses too, but my schools leg press machine wont go much higher than a 1,000 so I kill my quads with squats then clean up with presses, works nicely... Cant really walk afterward, but who needs that when you can race a wheel chair ;) !!!!

see we have a bunch of super slow stuff, ie. each rep is 10 seconds up and 10 seconds down, try doing that for 3 minutes on the leg press, that really gets you going. Also, sometimes we do manual leg curls, put a light weight on the leg curl machine, and have someone resist against you to where you can move it, but barely the entire time up and down, do this for 3 times and your hams will be screaming...

Thanks man! Currently I am cutting, trying to rid myself of the spare tire. I figured a way to do a super clean bulk in college, so I am using some Designer supps cutting products to go lean, then I am gonna do a three week agressive 5,000 plus clean bulk, and see how that goes. My metabolism is still pretty sick, so I am just gonna keep a bucket of brown rice around and clean up on that! Also figured a way to keeep a bucket of lean chicken breast around too! So I am excited!

I am going into my second week of leaning out and I am at around 246 lbs right now. I am putting my guts into this one, making sure I get 45 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week... And I am hitting a chest/ back day now twice a week. One day of higher reps, and one day of lower reps. Today is a heavy day, and i am looking to get the 100's up for 8-10 :) We'll see! Thank all of you for your help and support!

It seems that anything over 6'2" you should really use DB rather than BB. All in all good photos.

Retin-a is supposed to work well if you rub it on the stretch marks. I myself have them and they keep growing on my arms. The are no longer under my arm pits. Weirdest thing is I get new ones even when I haven't grown there. Search retin-a for stretch marks if you are interesting, a board sponser carries it.

Good work motiv8erJR

I am 19 also and about 6ft 1 inch. I am smaller of course. I am a weak cyclist. Clean bulking at my college is no problem at all too.

Anyway... I can still kick your ass. (I had nothing else to put) :)

Grand Forks which is 70 miles north of Fargo. Grand Forks has the better University so that is why I am here.

For being a former biker, you sure have pussy legs. (Once again, for entertainment purposes.)

Haha, Brent I never saw this... LoL that is a really bad pic of my legs. I have no front femur growth... I am trying ;) But if you go further up now that I am 20 lbs lighter, they are still 27 and half inches around ;)
