REVIEW COMPILATION FOR PES SELECT PEANUT BUTTER CUP

So today's plan was to go destroy legs (done) and then have a shake before I go shoot guns for a couple hrs and then to a barbecue.... I came home from the gym to this gem. Timing could literally not be better!
Took one scoop with a cup of cashew milk and 16oz of water plus a few ice cubes... The flavor is EXACTLY what you'd expect. Just like a Reese's cup. Lighter milk chocolate flavor with a good kick of pb. All of the flavors are smooth but this has that almost "fatty" pb smoothness to it that takes it to another level. It was absolutely incredible. The only drinkable thing I can think to compare it to would be melted pb cup ice cream. It has that similar thick, creamy texture.
I hate to say it but as much as I switch between sd and cnc for favorite, this has just taken the top spot. And not by a narrow margin either. This is far and away the best flavor I've had yet and that's saying something as sd and cnc were light years ahead of anything else I've tried.
I also think there's a hint of bdcc in each scoop so I'm sure the gainz will be magnified

I too would agree this is to be crowned the new king of flavors. Hands down the best flavor I have tried to date. I shared a couple of my scoops with fellow select protein fans at my gym, one of which was TheMovement who also agreed on the stellar flavor. I would have to say it has a very vibrant and flavorful robust pb taste like Reese's that cannot be beat. The mixability is incredible. I would say the chocolate to pb ratio is like 40:60 which is AWESOME because I love pb... But if you wanted more choc, all you would need to do is add chocolate select accordingly! Smart move And incredible flavor PES. I will not be the least bit surprised if this insider sells out. Perfect timing for the day after my birthday!

Overall taste:
The first thing I noticed is a strong peanut flavor/smell. A lot of times this can be nauseating - poorly flavored PB protein is pretty much my least favorite. This tastes like there is actual powdered peanut butter inside so you're left wondering how PES does it with the macros - which again are great:
120 cal | 1g fat | 4g carbs | 23g protein
Tried it in water as well as half water/half milk and found it to be delicious in both. Great selling point of PES is that it never feels underwhelming in just water, so if you're on poverty calories you're not left sipping a muted/chalky shake. Thickness is very nice - smooth and blends perfectly with no difficulty.
To best describe the taste: not as much like Reese's cups, but more like Reese's Pieces:

10/10 - Even if you have trouble reaching the last scoops of Katana, you will have no problem with this. Wide mouth even in the 7 serving tub, perfect for shoving your face or sausage hands into:
Comparison with Whey-Smooth:
Just tried Blue Star CPBC, so thought it would be helpful to offer a comparison. Select is of course thicker being a casein blend and has a more pronounced flavor when compared side-by-side. It has a stronger peanut taste, with Whey Smooth being more nuanced. Differences in flavors:
PES Select: upfront peanut flavor, finish tastes like Reese's Pieces
Whey Smooth: chocolate malt taste, finish like nutter butter
Final Thoughts:
PES nailed it again.
Day 1, I still prefer Snickerdoodle - never get sick of that flavor / makes the best PROATS of all time. But that is saying nothing against Select CPBC - this protein is good enough to stand alone as people's favorite peanut butter protein bar none. This flavor is delicious and look forward to trying this more to see if my thoughts change over the next week.
And by week, I mean this tub will be gone within 48 hours.

Smell: 5/5 Gave me tingles in my cheeks before even getting a thought through. I had a magical feeling that I kinda liked, felt wrong, but knew it was so right
Taste: 5/5 My myself, I would have liked a stronger PB presence but in no way or means does it take away from it being pretty darn tasty. I think it allows room for the addition of Ch. chips, PB chips, or any kind of butter added into baked goods for future uses which makes it worthwhile, I myself will be adding a bit more PB to it.
Mixbility: 5/5 Post workout with literally 8oz of water to a scoop and my shake was pretty damn good. No overdoing it with the shaker either and the chunks inside were pleasantly surprising.
Digestion: 5/5 No terrible stomach gurgles or clearing of rooms. I honestly felt extremely mobile after drinking and didn't feel weighed down but I wasn't exactly hungry by the time I got home which most times im still starving! Very good feeling and sits well on the stomach.
Overall this is and will be a great addition to the current lineup and PES has done a great job yet again with an amazing flavor!
Ok so I had to post this immediately. Today I got home and had a package waiting on me from the Select Review thread. Finally Ben nudez! I searched all around for them, but all I saw was a 7 serving size of peanut butter cup select. I figured "well, the nudez must be coming later so in the meantime I will give this new protein a try."
8 oz. Almond milk+exactly one scoop of the newest Select flavor.
HO-LEE-COW. The stuff is unreal. It really does taste close to a liquid reese's peanut butter cup and that is no lie. It's creamy, not overpowering PB, just flat perfect. In fact I'm not 100% sure PES won't get sued by Reese's
My favorite protein ever was Vanilla Mint Swirl Protean by iForce. That just got bumped to number two. This is the best tasting protein on the market and I would buy it even if the quality wasn't as good as a lot of the competition simply for the flavor. I have no need for protein right now. I have 2 almost full 5 lb. proteins from some competing brands and a full 5 lb. protein. I also have 3 tubs of 2 lb. select. I can tell you right now that if 6 is the limit tomorrow I'm ordering 6. It's not going to be cheaper and I'm going to cook and do all sorts of stuff with this.
I was sorta expecting it to not meet the hype since everyone who has tried it said it was best thing ever, but it exceeds the hype. The ONLY people who will be disappointed with this are those who do not like Reese's Peanut Butter cups (and I think you belong in therapy if that is the case). Honestly it's going to get really old having everyone talk about how awesome the flavor is and I mean that in the best way possible because once people get a hold of this EVERYONE is going to mention how awesome the flavor is.
PES hit this out of the park, out of the atmosphere, out of the Milky Way (wait...next PES SELECT FLAVOR MILKY WAY BARS?!). It is unreal. This **** should not be good for you. It should not have these type of macros. The new king is here.
ok just got done with an insane workout this morning, had alphamine advanced at 5am, sat my drivers test at 8am aced it
first impressions
opening the tub, i was straight away hit with that peanut butter smell, and after mixing up the sludge and a few bites in immediately made me think of a very light and subtle reeces cup like the flavor you can taste but its not over the top, almost very light hints of both but more milk choc than peanut butter. this by far is my favorite and will be second to snickerdoodle, and CnC third for top 3.
overall im probably going to go through a tub this week making all kinds of epic baked choc pb treats and enjoying different proats bowls with it. i think a scoop of Milk Choc select and 1 scoop CPBC with a tablespoon of Chocolate PB2 will be what i try tomorrow, i think the flavor on its own is so well done for the macros, that whatever you add to it will simply give it that BOOM. hands down give this a 10/10.
