Urgent Help Needed! Can Fenugreek herb cause Penile Reduction?

I was advised to take fenugreek and an ayurvedic herb called Triphala by my ayurvedic doctor for rapid hair loss as it runs in the family. I was not aware of its highly estrogenic effects. I heard it balanaed out the sex hormones. I took about 70 grams fenugreek a day to combat rapid hairloss for about 4 days before I stopped as I witnessed unusual effects. I am only 19 years old and have lost all my muscle mass, developed gyno, my skull got much bigger like acromegaly and my flaccid penis has shrunk--is this permanent? Is there anything to do to return it to normal. Normaly the flaccid is about 3 inches but now its about 2 inches.

Also, equally as distressing, my erections which used to be about 5.8 inches in length are just about 4 inches now and very weak.

The other thing is reduced libido and alot of fat all over the body. I took the fenugreek in august and it is January now!

Any help would be much appreciated as I am new to to this website and was hoping someone could help as my doctor ignred me and told em to wait

This is real. I acted a bit impulsively because I got very nervous with the hairloss. IT runs in my family and I am only 20 and lost majority of my childhood hair. But now I am very concerned. Are the effects of high estrogen include penile reduction?

A reduction in testosterone can make it hard to achieve and maintain an erection. You aren't going to lose physical tissue.

If this is real, I doubt your hormonal response to the fenugreek is permanent. Give it some time to reverse and in the mean time read up on phytoestrogens and xenoestrogens and take steps to avoid them.

If you are concerned about balding, consider minoxidil as a topical solution. Or just acknowledge most men thin and many bald and don't worry so much. It's better to have a working penis and shaved head then a limp dick and furry scalp IMO.

Your penis can't shrink no matter what you take. Once a small penis always a small penis. Fenugreek is a natural herb that helps to elevate test, it will not shut down natural test production. Furthermore you only took it for 4 days, takeing an actual steroid for that short of a period wouldn't even have negative effects on the body. If you feel your body is changeing that rapidly for the worse you might want to go see an actual doctor and see whats going on with your body.

How long has this been going on? And after four days?

You may want to visit an endocronologist. Western medicine may not be natural but they can probably fix your penis and possibly help you regrow hair.

Thank you both of you for answers. So I went I went to my Dam* pediatrician and she said just wait. I acted stupidly but I ddint want to have bald spots while going to college--Im only 20 now. I took 70 grams of nasty a** fenugreek powder a day. MY voice got higher and everything, but not too much. But why are my erections so much weaker even 5 months later? MY penis wasnt small--it was average length and compared to all the porn I've watched I had probable above average thickness of girth or whatever you call it. But thank you for your answers I appreciate it.

TexasGuy, I took the fenugreek abotu 4 days at the end of July. I was 19 years old then. It is January Now. And my erection strength ( hardness, length, girth, etc.) has not been back. And neither has my msucle mass

In the past my length was close to 6 inches--Id say 5.7 inches . But now its barely over 4 inches. This is why I am
overly concerned

You should go get a blood test done, and a full physical it really sounds like something way more seriouse then 4 days of fenugreek. Theres really no way it could cause some of the symptoms you are discribing, escpecially your skull getting larger.

Yea I took about 70 grams for 4 days. I wonder if that stimulated my pituitary too much or something and caused it to release alot of Growth hormone. My fae got broader too. I just hope it did not induce acromegaly.

Dude, if you keep talking about your penis it's going to be hard to take you seriously. This whole thread reaks of bs. If it's been five months since the onset of low T side effects following four days of an herbal supplement, get a second opinion. Nobody on this thread can make your boner better.

See a specialist, an endocronologist.

But main thing is, are you guys sure the penis can't shrink because of too much estrogen in the system? That information in itself is a relief.

IT is not Low Test because I had my bloodwork done with my doctor and the sex hormones ( esstrogen/test) came out normal I did this about a month after taking the fenugreek but still my general muscle tone has been dimineshed. Although sex drive has not diminished. And that is another reason why im worried because shouldnt erection strength be normal if the testosterone level is normal?

Then find a new doctor, if its been more then a few weeks your health really isnt important to your doctor. Go to someone else and get this taken care of, and stop measureing your penis all the time. girls don't find it attractive when you have charts layin around your room with penis growth from 2010-2011 labeled on them.

I think you're right BigCountry. I stillgo to the family doctor as she has watched me since childhood. But you're saying I shouldn't too concerned about my erections and that there is no permanent reduction in smooth muscle/erectile tissue?
