    Great substitute for soy sauce

Here is Bragg's Liquid Amino sauce. I've been using this for awhile and it didn't really hit me to share it until a little bit ago. It's great on EVERYTHING - tofu, vegetables, rice, eggs, steaks, chicken, salads, sweet potatos, etc etc etc. Go nuts-

Bragg Liquid Aminos is a Certified NON-GMO liquid protein concentrate, derived from soybeans, that contains the following Essential and Non-essential Amino Acids in naturally occurring amounts: Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Lysine, Leucine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Tyrosine, Valine

Taste: 10/10 (I can't tell the difference between this and soy sauce)

Price: 8/10 (I recommend buying it in bulk to save a bit of cash, it doesn't go bad for years and you'll use it on a ton of stuff)

Versatility: 9/10 (Only tastes gross with sweet stuff)

P.S - sorry if this doesn't belong here I'm kind of new

Alright, where do you get this stuff? I am a sushi fanatic and love soy sauce, but obviously so high in sodium (even the "Lite" version is).

I hear ya bro. Ooohhh, I'm getting really hungry now! Damn it, it's so expensive around here too. That's it, I'm moving to Japan.

You can buy a bottle (which should last about a month- 2 months if used daily) for about 6 bucks at the grocery store. Check out the health food section of a Kroger, Ukrops, or Food Lion. Dunno if Walmart carries it.

    It'd go perfect with sushi.

I've tried this stuff before. It really does taste as good as soy sauce. If I remember right, I got some free sample packets from their website.

Braggs is great. We keep it on the kitchen table in place of soy sauce. I keep a small spray bottle of it in my feed bag that I take to work.

We paid about $8 at the local feed/health food store for a 32 ounce bottle of it.

    From the label:

Ingredients: Bragg's formulated soy protein is from Certified Non-GMS Healthy Soybeans and purified water only. It is not fermented and contains no alcohol, no preservatives, no additives, no chemicals or coloring agents.

Realize that even if you use this stuff daily, a 32 ounce bottle is like an everlasting gobstopper in soy sauce form
