Green tea has received another boost as promoting better health and lowering the risk of cancer.

Writing in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Yale University researchers detail evidence that green tea's high concentration of antioxidants called catechins may offer a range of health benefits - notably as a counter to heart disease and tumors.

It is widely drunk in Asia where the incidence of lung cancer and heart disease is lower than in the United States.
