  4. If you read the article she was consuming her protein all from shakes. She also had other health issues that caused the issue to happen. It actually wasn't primarily from the protein. But she was taking something like 5-6 shakes a day and no protein from whole food.

  5. Anyone knows to much protein powder is bad for kidneys, digestion health, the lining in your stomach, etc.

    Maybe if your consuming 300+ grams a day but this story don't add up, sounds like some reporter trying to make a name by striking a controversial topic

  7. Example, wrestler kills family and dies, steroids found in the house. No talk about him having multiple concussion or being on anti depressents or anti psychotics. Rich piana dead, 20 vials of steroids but no1 talks about the powder all over the table with a card and a rolled up bill

    Even then, 300+ grams a day (which I'm currently ingesting) isn't going to do much to you if your body is functioning properly and healthily.

  9. She had a pre-existing condition that prevented her from properly removing ammonia from her blood.
    Excess protein -> More ammonia in her blood -> eventual brain damage

    Writing an article like this is kind of like claiming peanuts are toxic, because someone with a peanut allergy died from eating too many peanuts.
