Some Take home Points from the Diet Doc Joe himself:
Consider a recent survey of people in Great Britain:

- Nine out of 10 people miss at least one meal per day, and 25 percent eat their main meal alone.
That’s usually where the story ends in my office. “I skip meals; I’m not eating enough food; I’ve hurt my metabolism; that’s why I can’t lose weight!”
Don’t be silly.
Skipping meals makes you hungrier and more likely to overeat at the next meal, or snack mindlessly.

When questioned, 88 percent of those in the UK study admitted to snacking more between meals when they skipped a meal. Gotcha.

Fewer meals might be helpful.

The goal of any meal reduction strategy is more time spent in a true fasting state. It doesn’t mean 12 hours is necessary, but if you want the advantage of larger, less frequent meals, give it a shot—I think you’ll find some value in the experience.
