Hello guys,

My first post here but been reading for a while.

I'm following a keto diet (150P/20C/190F) and could lower my body fat at a satisfactory level, still wanna loose around 5 pounds of fat but feeling my muscle so soft that I want add 1 carb load day to replenish my muscle glycogen stores. I know it will push me back from lowering my body fat quicker but feeling for my muscles.

I will be doing the load on my chest day, as it's the muscle I need improve harder. Filling my Wednesday with carbs will also help the muscle I worked on the days before (Mon and Tue)? Up to how long after the endurance exercise muscle glycogen can be replenished?

Thanks,

A carb day won't hold you back from fatloss at all, I would actually recommend you carb cycle, just do Keto 2 out of 3 days and on 3rd day do high carb. You'll get the same effect, and you'll feel better and muscles will stay fuller. Just make sure your tracking your macros and have the right ratios for those days.
PS: try to make your high carb day your training day
