Intermittent Fasting question

If I'm doing 14 hours off / 10 hours on of IF, but I lift in the AM's before work (during my fasting time), should I still have a scoop or 2 of whey or how do guys suggest I handle it?

Taking in protein defeats the purpose of fasting. I believe it's 10g BCAA pre-workout, then 5G an hour until your first meal.

Is it possible to schedule your first meal soon after your morning training?
