Are quest bars ok during the no/low carb days of CNS and CBL?

Im not sure what CNS and/or CBL is but there is a controversy surrounding quest bars, specifically the carb count on the quest label

CNS: CarbNite Solution
CBL: Carb Backloading

As far as whether or not they're ok, there's really not a solid answer to that because of the fiber count controversy.

What's the controversy exactly? They use IMO (Isomalto-Oligosaccharide) as their main ingredient, a plant derived fiber source. Is this stuff controversial?

I recall them being under investigation for mislabeling, the listed caloric values being lower than tested

Quest bars here in Canada are all labelled differently, we count IMO's higher

I doubt the difference whatever it is would have any impact in a good diet.

For Ketosis I can't say for sure if it would be a hindrance.

FWIW, Breezy11 said he tested himself with keto sticks after eating Quest bars and said he was still good.
