Bloat from Eggs?

  1. Bloat from Eggs?


    I've been dealing with this for years now...for awhile I stopped using Eggs all together because of it

    Now I'm not eating carbs in the mornings and eggs for all the benefits and easy/quick prep and I was good for awhile.

    Now when I eat them I get terribly bloated for about an hour afterwards, just wondering if anyone else deals with this or if anyone knows why this happens? I eat the eggs whole and simply just put them in a pan and scramble them. I cook them in coconut oil however I experienced this bloat even before I started using coconut oil to cook my eggs in. I'm also using digestive enzymes in the morning which I figured couldn't hurt.


  2. If you're bloating from protein and fat even with enzyme use, I'd suppose some probiotics would help.

    Unless you developed an egg allergy? Try having a steak or some other fatty meat for breakfast instead to see if anything improves.

    I've used turkey in the morning....i need to prepare some steak or something for easy meal time, haha i try and get as much sleep as possible

  4. Haha, steak should be a 10 minute ordeal, 15 if you hate flavor. Cooking with fire first thing in the morning sets up your whole day for success.
