    Easy High Protein/Low Carb snacks


    im looking for some high protein/ low carb foods that i can take to work with me. im away from home 14 hours a day and dont always have access to a fridge to keep food in so i need something easy to take to work with me to keep my diet clean. any suggestions?

    are you on an actual keto diet? if so, even a sausage stick will work .. if u are just keeping carbs low then stuff like jerky and tuna are easy prey.
    I recommend either way you don't neglect a good fish oil like that from iforce.

    Thats great, why don't you try all Glycemic Index foods as they are high in protein, low carb as well as less risky to heart risks and problems. For fitness these products are also very. Just google it and get loads of information and you will see a change in your health as well.

    Honestly, my latest snack is pretty good and might meet your requirements. I like to packup a container of Chobani 0% plain yogurt and a half serving of honey roasted peanuts. The numbers are roughly 6g fat, 11g carbs and 22grams protein. So about 183 cals for a filling snack with 1 g fiber. Of course the yogurt goes with me pre-chilled in my insulated lunch bag.

    Those are perfect - was going to say String Cheese, the reduced fat version is very low cal/high protein. I at a ton of greek yogurt through my last prep (although I know some are afraid of dairy).

    People at my work give me greif for it because of the fishy smells - but I bring one of
    Can of Tuna
    Can of Salmon
    Smoked Oysters
    Canned sardines every day to work -high protein snack with lots of fish oils.

    I get Dry Curd cottage cheese because it has less carbs than regular cottage cheese - but it is also 0.4% fat. Since I am trying to go keto- I want fat so add some whipping cream to it - becomes a high fat high protein very filling snack. Can add stevia and chocolate powder to make it more tasty

    Celery sticks slathered with peanut butter - fiber protein and fat

    Nuts and seeds

    Old cheddar and mixed raw veggies (broccoli, cauliflower etc)

    Pork sausage patty with some raw veggies or with cooked veggies if I can nuke it
    Those are my go to snacks for low carb

    I get flack from "Standard American Dieters" as well. Tuna smells...sure and Cheetos don't. So clearly I'd base my choices on trivial BS like that. No. The wolf doesn't ponder the opinion of sheep.

    Back on topic... Boiling a bunch of eggs makes grabbing a snack easy. Pork skins don't need refrigeration. Jerky (watch the sugars in it) and nuts already mentioned. Quest bars are made from almonds and whey protein (only a few flavors without sugar alcohol)

    1 scoop whey protein
    1 tbls chia seeds(optional)

    Op I'm also away from home for longgggg periods if time. I'm a contractor who works 60 hour weeks at times, travels, on call 24 hours a day

    Every Sunday is cooking day. I cook 12 turkey burgers, 6 pounds of chicken and 4 pounds of ground beef.

    I separate it all in reliable zip lock bags. 10 oz portions in each bag.

    I throw at Least 5 10 oz servings into a large cooler. It's amazing have long ice will keep your food cool.
    I also have a back pack with me. It's filled with protein bars, a huge tub of Almonds and some whole wheat flat bread.

    If you want to get your meals in your going to have to plan ahead.

    Salads, stir frys, curries are just a few dishes that can be cheap and easy to make. Also roasted vegetables. What dishes do you already enjoy? Try not to take away your favourite things, think about the meal and excude the meat. If you give me some of your favourite dishes I will have a think as what you could have instead.

    Rotiserre Chicken from Kroger / Acme / Schnucks ? That should be an option. I have been on the road for the past 6 years, flying in and out of home about 46-50 weeks a year and how I manage is that way. Get some BBQ sauce (Memphis Habit), some chicken or some turkey and just wham bam. If you get shredded chicken and have some Sriracha and Cool Breeze flavor BBQ sauce, you can make amazing Shredded BBQ chicken mixing it, tastes well and will fit within your macros.
