Many consumers make food purchasing choices based on what’s noted on the label. They consider value in terms of budget and what will be healthy for them and their family. That’s why false claims by manufacturers like Arctic Zero can be so upsetting. A recent report by TODAY’s Jeff Rossen found that the company misrepresented at least two of their frozen desserts. Instead of containing only 150 calories per pint, Arctic Zero’s Vanilla Maple flavor has 46 percent more calories and their Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor has 68 percent more calories than what was stated on its package.
