First time cut advice
Hey all just about to start my first cut in a week or so because its coming to the end of winter in Australia and gonna start warming up soon. Just wanting to know weather I will still continue to get gains during a cut or I shouldn't expect much change while cutting? Also I'm gonna start doing 20mins of cardio after my weight training should I wait till after the cardio to have my protein shake or have it right after weights while doing cardio? Any other tips you could give me or advice would be great.

300-500 calorie deficit per day is a good target range but you really have to know your body perfectly to execute that. you may reduce your calories by 500 and still be in a surplus and not drop weight. but yes in answer to your question, yes reduce your calories by a few hundred should be a good start. in regards to your carbs I would eat them post workout only but expect
your strength to suffer. if you have carbs before you will help keep your strength in tact but will hinder fat loss since you have fuel other than fat to burn. do The sprints I was saying about before and eat carbs pre and post and you will still lose fat! believe me they are a miracle exercise routine

sprints is interval training. 15 seconds on, 30 off. I would lift weights first if I were you. sprints are very taxing on the body and I highly doubt you will be able to lift your normal weight if you do sprints prior in the same day. do weights in the morning and then sprints in the arvo but make sure you eat good carbs pre and post sprint session. good luck brother let me know how it goes

Are you looking to cut hard and fast? I ask because when I do things to get into contest prep, I do things in steps. So when I see things stall, I just add one more thing to keep me going. For instance, I will start with carb cycling. My high day starts at where my current bulking/maintenance diet is at. My low day will be comprised mostly of protein and fat, and postWO I will use iForce Isotean being low in carbs at only 3g and a whey isolate.
Then when i see progress slowing down, I will add in some HIIT after training every other day for 15 min after my lifting session.
When I see progress slow again, I will then add in a thermogenic such as iForce Dexaprine XR.
This is what I have done to get ready for my last two contests. I have had great results doing things this way, but I also plan out my cut so I can take some time to get it right and not just make it a temporary fix.
Hope this helps.

Pretty solid advice here to cut. I would add some cardio especially HIIT training into your workouts for some added fat loss. This will help you reach your target weight faster. I think you should really be hitting your goals soon. Good luck to you.

Definitely incorporate some HIIT for speedy weight loss along with some Dexaprine XR to make it burn even faster. It is all about caloric expenditure, just maintain a caloric deficit and you will be good. That can either entail increased caloric expenditure or decreased caloric intake.
