Distilled water before cardio?

    Distilled water before cardio?


    I've been reading through this 14-Day Hybrid Muscle Mass program and a section in there recommends drinking a liter of distilled water 5 minutes prior to AM or PM cardio. This is being referenced from Jack O'Bleness and asserts that this will make the blood "hypo-osmolaric" thereby pushing fluids into the muscle cells as a means of preventing muscle breakdown. In addition, there will be an appreciated muscle cell-hydrating or saturation and volumizing pump experience.

    Has anybody tried drinking it before cardio and noticed a difference?

    yes you should be properly hydrated at all times if thats what your asking

    Proper hydration is not the issue, it's using distilled water vs non-distilled water (be it tap or bottled).

    Tap water. Distilled is generally used for places where river water (or other sources of water) are unsafe to drink. Distilled water has its trace minerals removed (water follows sodium) which is not ideal.

    Well it is not a bad idea to drink water before any cardio. It is good to drink water or any fruit juice before doing cardio. I like to drink water before doing cardio.
