protein question

  1. protein question

What is the difference between consuming 50 grams of bcaa or 50 grams of whey?

  2. Whey is a complete protein. BCAA's have only three amino acids (parts from which proteins are built from), L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. BCAA's are anticatabolic and whey is anabolic. This is my understanding of those supplements. Everybody else, please correct mistakes and fill blanks if needed

50g of BCAAs are probably too much to take in one go.

  4. They're both anabolic and have their own uses. As already said, whey is a complete protein unlike BCAAs and makes it more suitable as a protein source for a meal.
