Steakhouses are a complete rip off....

Buy good meat and learn to grill in the only way to go and not end up overpaying and disapointed.

I'm getting to the point I hate eating out because it's never as good as what I make at home and costs 7-10 times more.

Yessir, with a gift card like Chris had I would go but otherwise make my own or hit a standard restaurant that will serve AAA fir 20-30

When I do eat out Steak is a reliable menu option to not break my diet and offered almost everywhere

I got away from eating steak out and now I'm a half or whole chicken guy.

I've never been to RC but my dad is a steak lover and said for the price it's not even close to being worth it.
The most expensive piece of meat I've at is a 75 dollar Kobe Filet Mignon from Tender in LV.
Only reason I went was one of my employers gave me 200 to go and blow and I chose to treat my GF and I to a nice meal since I don't drink at all or gamble much.

no quality is worth that kind of money. It's one meal. And it's just food. For that kind of money I can buy much nicer and more useful things or feed myself for a two weeks. I don't care what kind of beef it is it's still a cow.

no its not just a cow
    thats where your wrong
your like comparing a ferrari to a honda in terms of a car. its night and day difference as far as you get what you pay for.

its raised in japan and special beef, just like how a kobe burger in NYC is around 40-50$
You clearly have no idea the difference between good quality food and just food. There is a major difference in taste, texture, and why its much more expensive to product because it comes from a special cow.

again, for someone who never has had good fine dining you truly dont know the difference in taste and quality, but again, you can stick to your smash burger and froyo if that keeps ya happy

In the end, it all turns into the same turd so what's the point of excessive quality? Ya it might taste a bit better but for 10x the price? I personally just can't justify that type of money for something that physiologically does exactly the same thing for my body (the entire purpose of eating) as a $10 steak

Again, you have never had high quality food, so your just going to push that line over and over and over again.
So you cannot knock it till you try it
once you actually have a good restaurant experience you will understand.

Compare buffalo to ground beef ... night and day difference
compare a filet to a sirlion... night and day difference in taste

I could go on and on.
If you enjoy your fast food 5$ burgers enjoy. Ill rather spend the extra money for a quality meal and product. Just a personal preference.

This is true. Although I wouldn't go to these restaurants all the time, due to financial restrictions, it is nice to indulge or pamper yourself with quality food and ingredients. Some people go to the spa, get a massage, etc, etc, and all that can be done at home or a cheaper venue. However, in the end, you usually get what you pay for. Treating yourself to a higher quality place, food or non food, is a great experience.
