Dont need butter in all reality bro, you could use applesauce or greek yogurt as a sub. The trick is to make sure the batter it thin so they cook quick and they are thin on the final product. Can be very macro friendly.

  2. Some good eats this weekend. Main meal was protein heavy and saved my carbs for dessert (not pictured - tiramisu cake, strawberry shortcake, 1/2 white chocolate dipped cannoli with mini chocolate chips from Italian bakery):

Marinated pork chop, grilled burger, egg roll, Vietnamese crepe with bean sprouts, and 3 bowls of Vietnamese beef stew. Anyone who likes pho needs to hit up the beef stew because it is bangin! I prefer it over pho.

Killin me Solution, I'm trying to hold off until my cheat day! That Coldstone ice cream sounds and looks amazing. Cookie/batter mixes are my weakness.

As much as I would love to take credit and make up an answer for you I would have to ask the chef that question, this is from a local authentic Viet/Thai restaurant I've been going to since I was about 10. I could ask the chef, great guy, knows me by name always greets me with a bow and now knows my fiancé.

They make a bomb egg-broth Chinese broccoli/beef tenderloin soup there I will get a pic next time.
