    Is cottonseed oil safe?

I see it in a lot of potato chips and I heard somewhere that cottonseed can contain pesticides.

Reality is, is that many companies use pesticides in some form (in vegetable growing). But products are washed more often than not, and often multiple times. Then perhaps the cooking would destroy them too. If not, you can always wash your chips under cold water
