Website to connect with local farmers for beef/eggs/etc

I think JudoJosh posted a link months, maybe years ago that could put you in contact with local farmers around you where you could get grass-fed beef on the low, possibly other meats and eggs. I bookmarked that on my old computer, which has long since broken down, so I was hoping someone could hook me up again with that link.

In my opinion, there is no real reason to buy grass fed beef. The differences are insignificant and grain finished beef from a local supermarket is significantly cheaper, especially when you wait for sales which happen fairly often. If you have lots of extra cash lying around, go for it I guess, but I don't think it's worth it based upon the research I've seen.

Differences in many steak cuts are pretty appreciable. The fat content can dramatically change from omega-6 dominant to omega-3 dominant (and we're talking about EPA/DHA, not ALA). This is not as big of an issue however for extra lean ground beef (like I get 96/4) where most of the fat is cooked out, and what's left over doesn't contribute too much damage given the rest of your diet is in check.

That said, you might be right on the prices. From what I saw on the URLs, all but one of the farms charge a hefty load for the beef. And this is no different from their prices at the farmer's markets - it's exactly the same (EXACTLY). One was cheaper. There is one local store here whose beef prices I havent checked in years, so I may go check it out again sometime.

I was curious about this link because I hadn't really given it a thoroughly looksee, and I was interested in both eggs and beef.
