    Is this good for me??

I'm new to training in the gym and just wondering if what I'm eating is any good for me?

Because I'm at work and looking for something I can eat quickly.

Is having lettuce, a pepper, a little bit of feta cheese, and some couscous good enough for a lunch before I go to the gym at 6:30pm?

I just don't want to be eating this if it's not going to be beneficial when I'm training.

    Thanks guys x

Wtf?! Don't know why you'd wanna eat that before the gym in particular but its not unhealthy. PB on whole grain IMO would be a better choice.

All of the replies here are good options. But perhaps it would help you to understand why.

You would benefit from having a small, balanced meal before training. Getting a few carbohydrates in your body will help you with energy in the gym and recovery afterwards. Protein and fat do similar things, as well. Basically, you need to get a little of each to have a good pre workout meal.

Your current meal has only a small amount d carbs and is primarily dominated by fat. Consider having your pre workout meal be composed primarily of carbs with some protein and limit the fat.

    Hope this helps!
