    Rice

I was wondering if anyone knew the ratio for dry rice to cooked rice? My box says 3/4 cup is one serving but when you cook it it expands. I usually cook about 3-4 cups at a time and just eat about a cup of cooked rice. Is this about the same as a serving? Any info will help.

If it just says 3/4 cup is serv then that is probably the "cooked" serv. I just checked my bag and it says 1/4 cup serv (makes 3/4 cup cooked)...So in one cup you're prob getting around 50 carbs or so.

How much water does it say to add? That'll give you a better idea on serving size.

BTW, do you go to SFA?

It typically doubles in size. Like SizeUp mentioned though, sometimes on the label it shows the cooked serving.

I have a friend who's in grad school there. There's not much else in Nacogdoches.
