Could I live on this shake?

    Could I live on this shake?


    The shake contains:

    2dl oats, 30g peanut butter 30g Gold Whey standard and 500ml milk. I know that having a varied diet is best, but with these ingredients I don't really feel like missing out on something. Complex carbs from the oats, healthy fats from the peanut butter and great protein source from the milk and Gold Whey.

    I often have myself 3 of those in a day and that is 2200kcal so it easily becomes 50% of my daily intake that I get from these shakes. Any problems in that? =)

    You could live off eating grass and bark, but that doesn't make it healthy.

    Really though, it doesn't look like a bad shake. I wouldn't try living off of it though.

    Thank you for your reply, I don't mean that I will literally live from only that shake, just wanted to make sure that if it is okay that so many of my daily calories comes from only these 3 foods and powder =)

    Quiet a few people get just as many calories from drinking a gallon of whole milk a day. I think your shake is a step up from that atleast.

    Not knocking the GOMAD diet, when i get home from afghanistan it's on my to-do list.

    There are quite a few vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that could be missing from those foods. Some known , some unknown. This is true even if you take a multivitamin tab.

    So try to get some fruits and vegetables too.
