Most Keto-Friendly Protein Poweder?
I was hoping to not add too much "stuff" to my shakes to get the macros right for keto.
Thanks!

An isolate is purer than a blend. Something like http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/a...late-5-lb.html is quite pure as you can see.
http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/a...acer-5-lb.html is a pretty close option, and cheaper too.

The Scivation whey has minimal carbs, too. Both the suggested and Scivation, though, are pretty much just protein, no fats at all.
I'm looking for a protein that's Keto-friendly out of the box (protein and fats already close to what they need to be, and light on carbs).
Thanks for the post, though!

There is also the option of a protein powder plus a water and heavy whipping cream mix.

I now fully understand your question. With my highest recommendations, I suggest Chocolate-Peanutbutter http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/x...-2-0-2-lb.html . This stuff is seriously addicting. Only 2g of carbs per serving. I've eaten almost 3 lbs plain in the past 4 weeks *confession*

to many carbs, you need like 2.5 scoops for your serving which woule yeild 45g pro, 22.5g fat, and 12.5g carb. thats too much at a meal if your goin keto, although, it looks pretty good.

Ah I was looking at Sugars (3g) think it was total carbs and subtracted the 1g fiber. That stuff tastes unbelievable though. I'm working to get some Choc PB from ATW for you guys at NP in the near future.
I'd say go with Chocolate Isolate and add a Tbsp of Natty PB in (Or Coconut Oil, my favourite lol. Sipping on it right now)

Biotest makes a low carb protein powder. Spendy and few servings IIRC, though.

if it were like 3g fiber per scoop then ok
you guys should make a keto powder
for every 15g protein there should be 5 g fat
and rught there would be pretty damn good at 3 scoops (45g pro, 15g fat) you can make it with macadamia nuts, and almond and make them powdered. add some chocolate flavoring, and of course it has to be PURE ISOLATE with no carbs and no fat.

Sounds like a good idea for TP or ATW. Right now we're working on getting some bulk powders back/ NutraCaps. Definitely sounds good though.

Not if you mix 1 scoop 2.0 + 1 scoop 1.0... you can also add in an additional fat source and fiber if you like. 2.0 is strong enough it will mask 90% of other protein powders.
Proof is in my workout log, I've done this with great success.

Get some team skip from True protein if you are looking for a no carb meal replacement. It is pure whey isolate, egg white protein and casein.

TP has pea protein, hemp protein, rice protein, soy protein, egg white protein, whole egg protein, and several kinds of pure whey isolate.
take your pick.
Plus, you could always try a custom mix and throw in a small percentage of casein to see how your body handles it. Most lactose intolerant people can still take in smaller amounts
