Will whey prices increase a lot on NP?

Been reading that the cost of whey is going up... Wondering how that will affect NP and prices.

Whats the shelf life of protein? (isnt it considered a dairy product?)

Optimum's has already gone up. I inquired about Dymatize and was told they have raised their prices as well and that should be reflected on Nutraplanet shortly.

Just to give you an example, ON has already issued two price increases in less than two months. We are taking a hit on margins just to keep the price increases minimal. Another thing I'm noticing now shortages and out of stocks. I am hoping that things will return to a state of normalcy after the summer. We shall see...

Time for NP to carry Egg Whites in bulk??? And other forms of protein??

Just to let you know, I have been looking into whey prices straight from dairy manufacturers...you are seeing a perfect example of supply and demand. Whey protein for BB products is pretty far down on the list of priorities for dairy manufacturers. Whey is getting more and more popular in foods, and the price increases are JUST starting.

It is going to get pretty ridiculous, pretty soon.
