All of these things make me laugh.
Think a little further and we'll see that are witnissing something worse than a war right now! The global economical state, is getting worse every day that passes by so, lets say, within a few more years our (occidental) economy would be in such a deplorable state that we might not even aford for weapons to make a physical war. We are already dealing with an economical one, so lets hold on to our seats as this come trough us.

I think the only catastrophe will be the War of Gog and Magog predicted in the book of Ezekial. Russia and Iran will attack Israel. God will destroy the attackers in such a way that people will know there is only one true God. And that will start the final "chapter" so to speak for the return of Christ.
