    This is gonna be the first time I actually give it 110%.

    Ive always had an image of how I "should look" and by never giving it my all I could never be disappointed in myself for coming up short of expectations.

    So this is it, do or die time. It doesnt matter if I win or lose because when its over I will have achieved self satisfaction.

    Im bringing my all and truly believe I will be the dark horse of this competition.

    So I'm going to be eating:

    400+ grams of protein daily
    300+ grams of carbs daily

    I have a strict budget so carbs will be oatmeal and rice
    Protein will be whey isolate, eggs, tuna, and chicken breast

    My training will be a modified DC approach for 2 weeks, may sound dumb but here goes

    Monday: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Back thickness and Back width
    Tuesday: Biceps, Forearms, Calves, Hamstrings and Quads
    Wednesday: repeat Monday
    Thursday: repeat Tuesday
    Friday: repeat Monday
    Saturday: Repeat Tuesday or off
    Sunday: Off

    1-2 warm ups sets each muscle, followed by 1 heavy rest pause set for 12-15 followed by muscle stretch. Thats it.

    Will see how I feel, May need to stick to actual DC Monday/Wednesday/Friday but we'll try it out and see how it goes. Obviously if Im sore Ill have to stick to Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

    Thinking of 2 month bulk and 1 month 400+ protein and less than 100 carbs a day.

    haha its quite the kick in the ass.

    So tonight was the first workout in about 2 months, always a terrible feeling lol. Being smaller and weaker than you remember yourself being just sucks.

    Not sure if Im strong enough to do a DC type of training so we'll see how the next few weeks pan out.

    If I drink it too fast I definitely get flushed for about a half hour, pretty hardcore stuff.

    Yeah definitely wont be lifting until Monday, every body part is sore. But I'm happy to know I had two sufficient workouts.

    Im probably going to update pictures every 4 weeks just to keep myself in check, and possibly you guys in check too lol

    My recovery time has been about 3 days so far. Hit chest Monday, sore till Friday. This is likely from being inactive for a few months. I really like DC thus far, I never really lift heavy or push myself to the max and with DC I'm surely going to be hitting weight I wouldn't normally try.

    Thanks to a site DW mentioned, fitday, my daily intake of food is just under 5,500 cals, Fat 166g Carbs 577g Protein 530g.

    Ive never taken in this amount of food before but I'll have supplements helping me synthesize it all

    Yeah, GNC had a special I couldn't resist.

    I had this planned for about 2 months prior to the contest. This isn't to "get ahead".

    I can't really afford to eat the way I need to so this is an all out last chance for me to prove to myself I can look the way I want if I train and eat the way I need to with no worry about how much I spend on food.

    Also the way you say "the 21 year old" comes off as you think I might be arrogant lol but rest assured Ive done a cycle of Turinabol, and have studied for hours on end about everything I've ever considered taking.

    No problem, it's not against the rules or anything. I would caution that without proper diet, sh!t won't matter for keeping the gains. Even in college got to get it right, luckily you can do it with a George Foreman grill, and bulk eggs/chicken/oats for cheap.

    I don't think you're arrogant off the bat. I do think 21 is a bit young, but that's just me. It's good you researched the compounds, but the nutrition and exercise parts are the tough things to dial in. Check out DreamWeaver's log (the old fugger), and you'll see how experience (and mistakes) are how you learn what works for you with or without anabolics (or Muscle Tech).

    Not a bash at all, just trying to look out for you. You'll probably dismiss this anyway, but had to say it anyway. I do wish you the best of luck with the cycle, and get the nutrition RIGHT!

    Dude thats an a$$load of cals no matter what you were running. I would cut that down some, and at your weight you should bulk good off of 3300-3800 cals daily. You will gain off of 5500 but it will be alot of fat weight along some muscle gain. The purpose of a bulk is not to gain more fat than muscle.

    Just my .02 bud

    The only carbs I'd be taking in are rice, wheat bread, and oatmeal. Id love to cut the rice. I didnt think you could really get fat on plain chicken breast, tuna, and eggs. Am I wrong? This is as clean as my diet will have ever been.

    I dont dismiss anything anyone says lol, I know its not just pop some "muscletech" and BOOM. It takes a **** load of dedication in the gym, and in the kitchen. This transformation will be my chance to see if I "got it" or I dont.

    I appreciate everyones opinions trust me I'd be the first to say I dont know everything, and am always willing to learn.

    The carbs arent your problem. Your TOTAL CALS are what you should watch. Your body doesn't care if it is a carb, fat, or protein. If there is an over abundance, your body will store some as fat. It is easier for the body to store carbs as fat, but it can happen with anything...

    I would at the least cut back to 4k, and keep your ratios the same.
