Truth is, boxing alone – hitting bags, punching people, or even sparring with an imaginary opponent – can only do so much. so How Boxing build muscle?

To answer your question, does boxing build muscle, the answer is no. The reason why is because the overall greatest challenge boxing offers is a cardiovascular one. Its more of an aerobic workout than muscle building. As a matter of fact, boxing will make you gain muscle slower because it is so aerobically advanced.
