Aches when starting first time

    Aches when starting first time


    Could someone explain to me why isit when you have a long break from training or just starting, why isit that you feel like your muscles are achey and feel ripped....
    But when you trained that body part for a few times u don't get that achey ripped feeling no matter how you train???

    The muscle discomfort is simply a symptom of using your muscles and placing stresses on them that are leading to adaptations to make them stronger and better able to perform the task the next time. When muscle temperature is increased, blood flow increases, bringing fresh oxygen and healing nutrients to the injured site .This increased blood flow also helps to wash away the chemical irritants responsible for pain.Be sure to stretch out all the muscles, but not to much before you work out and have a cool down phase/routine, to help with the achey feeling.

    Your athletic conditioning, age and the condition of your skeletal muscular system all contribute to DOMS, degree of athletic conditioning and how adapted your body is to training - will determine, in part, the inflammatory response to exercise. Young or new or athletes coming off a long break are susceptible to DOMS because their conditioning is not developed to handle heavy and intense workouts.

    It is just because your muscles might had forgotten the amount maximum of task to be done by it within a time period. Exercising helps to increase your efficiency of your muscles workload.. so it's natural that you will feel pain when you do excess work.
