Who's looking forward to seeing Couture vs. Machida? That will be a pretty badass fight

Definitely a great fight. I'm giving it to Couture for the win.

I think it's going to be boring....it will be machida trying to weave in and out avoiding takedowns, and couture trying to take machida down. Eventually he will, and he will gnp hm out or submit him.....

I don't think Shields can take down GSP and I think GSP dominates the stand up.

it will definitely be an awesome fight. Everyone loves to see Couture get back in the octagon, but I think Machida will take the win. Couture has heart but he is too old and rusty. I'm more looking forward to the GSP vs Shields fight, i have a hunch GSP might be loosing his prime.

Shields can take GSP down up against the cage. Rewached Sheilds vs Daily where he kept dropping down for the single leg when Daily threw punches. That's not going to work on GSP.

Yeah I've been watching primetime. That show has done really good at promoting the fights and the fighter. I think alot of people will be suprised at how good Jose Aldo really is.

I like how George keeps calling him Jake Shield.

Just watched UFC countdown. Aldo highlights look sick. Hope Homminick can deal with those leg kicks.

I watched the weigh ins and Bendo came in at 156.5. I read on another forum that he had to shave his head to make weight, lol.

Looking forward to the fights tonight. I have always loved Couture but he really is old and I'm surprised every time time White puts him back in the octagon. GSP can't be as sharp as he's been forever...I agree that this may be the time we start to see GSP past his prime.

I read that on Sherdog and then later read on Yahoo that Bendo made weight within the allotted time given after failing the first weigh-in.

Couture goes down from a really scary front kick to the face - karate kid style. Hated to see it, but it's definitely time for Couture to call it wrap. He sounded pretty convincing after the loss that he wouldn't be back, so I think we've seen him for the last time - great fighter, tho.

Lyoto's kick saved the card. Never been so excited from watching a card.

I gotta say I just dont understand the gameplans against GSP. Shields only attempted 6 takedowns?

Also, GSP is starting to bother me a bit. He never seems to have a sense of urgency about finishing a fight. Not that the opportunity presented itself last night, but it would be nice for him to finish a fight rather than apologizing afterwards for not finishing. I have a great deal of respect for him, and he is one of the greatest 170lbers ever, but sheesh.

Now he will fight Diaz (DW wants to make it happen) and he will get a decision against him as well. I hate to say it, but I wont pay for a card with GSP on it until he fights at 185.

GSP fights are so boring I dont know why i even bothered watching it when i called another boring decision win like 4 months ago.

I want to see Silva vs GSP so I can watch GSP get toyed with and then put to sleep like Belfort.
